से प्राप्त हुई है । देवनागरी लिपि में काली और लाल स्याही द्वारा कागज पर लिखी गयी है। इसकी कुल पत्र-संख्या ३०५ है । प्रत्येक पत्र पर १३ पंक्तियाँ हैं और प्रत्येक पंक्ति में ४२ से लेकर ४६ तक अक्षर हैं। पत्रों की लम्बाई साढ़े चौदह इंच और चौड़ाई ६ इंच है। प्रारम्भ के कितने ही पत्रों के बीच-बीच के अंश नष्ट हो गये हैं । मालूम होता है कि स्याही में कोशीस का प्रयोग अधिक किया गया है जिसकी तेजी से कागज गलकर नष्ट हो गया है। यह प्रति सुवाच्य तो है परन्तु कुछ अशुद्ध भी है । श, ष, स, व, ब, न और ण में प्रायः कोई भेद नहीं किया गया है । प्रत्येक पत्र पर ऊपर-नीचे और बगल में आवश्यक टिप्पण दिये गये हैं। कितने ही.टिप्पण 'त' प्रति के टिप्पणों से अक्षरशः मिलते हैं। इसकी लिपि १७३५ संवत् में हुई है। सम्भवतः यह संवत् विक्रम संवत् होगा; क्योंकि उत्तर भारत में यही संवत् अधिकतर लिखा जाता रहा है। पुस्तक की अन्तिम प्रशस्ति इस प्रकार है :
"संवत् १७३५ वर्षे अगहणमासे कृष्णपक्षे द्वादशीशुक्रवासरे अपराह्निकवेला।
"श्री हरिकृष्ण अविनाशी ब्रह्मश्रीनिपुण श्रीब्रह्मचक्रवतिराज्यप्रवर्तमाने गैव दलबलवाहनविद्यौघ दुष्टघनघटाविदारणसाहसीक म्लेच्छनिवहविध्वंसन महाबली ब्रह्मा की बी शी. भवीछत्रत्रयमंरित सिंहासन अमरमंडलीसेव्यमानसहस्रकिरणवत् महातेजभासुर नृपमणि' मस्तिकमुकुटसिद्धशारदपरमेश्वर-परमप्रीति उर ज्ञानध्यानमंडितसुनरेश्वराः । श्रीहरिकृष्णसरोजराजराजित पदपंकजसेवितमधुकर सुभटवचनसंकृत तनु अंकन । यह पूरण लिखो पुराणतिन शुभशुभकीरति के पठन को। जगमगतु जगम निज सुअटल शिष्य-गिरधर परसराम के कथन को । शुभं भवतु मङ्गलं । श्रीरस्तु । कल्याण मस्तु ।"
इसी पुस्तक के प्रारम्भ में एक कोरे पत्र के बायीं ओर लिखा है कि :
"पुराणमिदं मुनीश्वरदासेन आरानामनगरे श्रीपार्शजिनमन्दिरे वत्तं स्थापितं च भव्यजीवपठनाय । भवं भूयात् ।"
इस पुस्तक का सांकेतिक नाम 'प' है।

'अ' प्रति-यह प्रति जैन सिद्धान्त भवन आरा की है। इसमें कुल पत्र २५८ हैं। प्रत्येक पत्र का विस्तार साढ़े बारह साढ़े छह इंच है। प्रत्येक पत्र पर १५ से १८ तक पंक्तियाँ हैं और प्रत्येक पंक्ति में ३८ से ४१ तक अक्षर हैं। लिपि सुवाच्य है । देवनागरी लिपि में काली और लाल स्याही से लिखी हई है। अशुद्ध बहुत है। श्लोकों के नम्बर भी प्राय: गड़बड़ हैं। श, ष, स, न, ण और ब, व में कोई विवेक नहीं रखा गया है। यह कब लिखी गयी? किसने लिखी ? इसका कुछ पता नहीं चलता। कहीं-कहीं कुछ खास शब्दों के टिप्पण भी हैं। इसके लेखक संस्कृतश नहीं मालूम होते । पुस्तक के अन्तिम पत्र के नीचे पतली कलम से निम्नलिखित शब्द लिखे हैं: "पुस्तक मारिपुराणजी का, भट्टारकराजेन्द्रकीतिजी को दिया, लखनऊ में ठाकुरदास की पतोह ललितप्रसाद की बेटी ने । मिती माघबदी'.:::.सं० १९०५ के साल में"
