[द्वितीय संस्करण से सम्पादन-सामग्री
श्री जिनसेनाचार्य-रचित महापुराण का आदि अंग-आदिपुराण अथवा पूर्वपुराण का सम्पादन निम्नलिखित १२ प्रतियों के आधार से किया गया है :
१. 'तप्रति—यह प्रति पं० के० भुजबली शास्त्री 'विद्याभूषण' के सत्प्रयत्न द्वारा मूडबिद्री के सरस्वती भवन से प्राप्त हुई है। कर्णाटक लिपि में ताड़पत्र पर लिखी हुई है। इसके ताड़पत्र की लम्बाई २५ इंच और चौड़ाई २ इंच है। प्रत्येक पत्र पर प्रायः आठ-आठ पंक्तियाँ हैं और प्रति पंक्ति में १०६ से लेकर ११२ तक अक्षर हैं। अक्षर छोटे और सघन हैं। मार्जनों में तथा नीचे उपयोगी टिप्पण भी दिये गये हैं। प्रति के कुल पत्रों की संख्या १७७ है। मूल के साथ टिप्पण इतने मिलकर लिखे गये हैं कि साधारण व्यक्ति को पढ़ने में कठिनाई हो सकती है । श्लोकों का अन्वय प्रकट करने के लिए उन पर अंक दिये गये हैं। लेखक महाशय ने बड़ी प्रामाणिकता और परिश्रम के साथ लिपि की, मालूम होता है। यही कारण है कि यह प्रति अन्य समस्त प्रतियों की अपेक्षा अधिक शुद्ध है । इस ग्रन्थ का मूल पाठ इसी के आधार पर लिया गया है। इसके अन्त में निम्न श्लोक पाये जाते हैं जिससे इसके लेखक और लेखन-काल का स्पष्ट पता चलता है।।
"मोन्नमो वृषभनापाय, श्री श्री श्री भरताविशेषकेवलिम्यो नमः । वृषभसेनादिगणधरमुनिभ्यो नमः, पर्वताम् जैन शासनम्, भन्नमस्तु ।
बरकर्णाटवेशगायां निवसन्युरि नामभूति महाप्रतिष्ठातिलकवान्नेमिचन्द्रसूरियः। तदीर्घवंशजातो (त.) पुत्रः प्राशस्य देवचन्द्रस्य । यन्नेमिचन्द्रसूनोर्वरभारखाजगोत्रजातोऽहम् ॥ श्रीमत्सुरासुरनरेश्वरपन्नगेन्द्रमौल्याच्युताघ्रियुगलो वरदिव्यगात्रः । रागादिदोषरहितो विषुताष्टकर्मा पायात्सदा बुधवरान् वरदोलोराः ॥ शाल्यम्बे ब्योमवहिव्यसनराशियते [१७३०] वर्तमाने द्वितीये पाचे फाल्गुष्यमासे विधुतिषियुतसत्काम्यवारोतराभे । पूर्व पुण्यं पुराणं पुरजिनचरितं नेमिचन्द्रण चाभूदेवबीचारकीतिप्रतिपतिवरशिष्येन चात्यावरेण ॥ धर्मस्थलपुराधीशः कुमाराल्यो नराधिपः तस्मै बत्तं पुराणं भीगुरुणा चारकोतिना ॥"
इस पुस्तक का सांकेतिक नाम 'त' है। . .' प्रति-यह प्रति भी श्रीयुत ५० के भुजबली शास्त्री के सत्प्रयत्न से मूडबिद्री के सरस्वती भवन से प्राप्त हुई है। यह प्रति भी कर्णाटक लिपि में ताड़पत्रों पर उत्कीर्ण है। इसके कुल पत्रों की संख्या २३७ है। प्रत्येक पत्र की लम्बाई २५ इंच और चौड़ाई डेढ़ इंच है। प्रति पत्र पर ६ से लेकर ७ तक पंक्तियाँ हैं और प्रत्येक पंक्ति में ११८ से लेकर १२२ तक अक्षर हैं। बीच में कहीं-कहीं टिप्पण भी दिये गये है। अक्षर सुवाच्य और सुन्दर हैं। दीमकों के आक्रमण से कितने ही पत्रों के अंश नष्ट-भ्रष्ट हो गए हैं। इसके लेखन और लेखन-काल का कुछ भी पता नहीं चलता है। इसका सांकेतिक नाम 'ब' है।
