प्रास्ताविक अर्थात मेरे धनमें से एक भाग धर्म-कार्यके लिए, दूसरा भाग घर-खर्चके लिए तथा तीसरा भाग सहोदरोंमें बांटनेके लिए है। पुत्रियों और पुत्रोंमें वह भाग समानरूपसे बांटना चाहिए। इससे यह स्पष्ट है कि धनमें पुत्रीका भी पुत्रोंके समान ही समान अधिकार है।
इस तरह मूलपाठशुद्धि, अनुवाद, टिप्पण और अध्ययनपूर्ण प्रस्तावनासे समृद्ध यह संस्करण विद्वान् सम्पादककी वर्षोंकी श्रमसाधनाका सुफल है। प० पन्नालालजी साहित्यके आचार्य तो हैं ही, उनने धर्मशास्त्र, पुराण और दर्शन आदिका भी अच्छा अभ्यास किया है। अनेक ग्रन्थोंकी टीकाएं की हैं और सम्पादन किया है। वे अध्ययनरत अध्यापक और श्रद्धालु विचारक हैं। हम उनको इस श्रमसाधित सत्कृतिका अभिनन्दन करते हैं और आशा करते हैं कि उनके द्वारा इसी तरह अनेक ग्रन्थरत्नोंका उद्धार और सम्पादन बादि होगा।
