If some person does wrong to us, we should think that he being impelled by our bad Karma, is so doing.
So in this case we should be angry towards our bad Karma, but not with the person who has, in doing so, become merely a handle of our roused Karma.
A dog bites a piece of stone thrown away by some man, but a lion jumps over the man who has thrown it (the piece of stone).
Likewise, we should not be angry with the stone-like man, but we should be so towards our bad Karma which has thrown to us the stone in the form of the man.
Thus, we should not be foolish like the dog, but we should be intelligent as well as brave like the lion, 206-210
