Conclusion: The essence is that the activity (kriya) without the right attitude (bhava) is not an activity. This is because it lacks the inherent fruition. Here, the example of the Saivaiyaka is given. This soul has taken infinite bodies in the Saivaiyaka celestial realm due to the flow of karmic influx (aghati-praväha). And the attainment of the Graivaiyaka realm is also not possible without the complete observance of the monk's activities, but it is only possible through the perfect observance of the monk's activities. Thus, even though the monk has attained the complete activity (kriya) infinite times, the well-being of this soul has not occurred! Alas! Even the right vision (darśana) has not been accomplished! The reason for this is the lack of the appropriate attitude (bhava). From this, the primacy of attitude (bhava) is evident.
Further, it is said:
"The worthy ones are never to be prayed to for listening, for the effort of the virtuous ones is established in the great jewel (mahäratna)." (225)
The meaning is that the worthy ones are never to be prayed to for listening, because the effort of the virtuous ones is established in the great jewels like the Cintämani (wish-fulfilling gem), etc.
The commentator says that the unworthy ones are never to be prayed to for listening, because due to the lack of reverence, they are naturally inclined towards it. The virtuous ones - the meritorious ones - their effort is established in the great jewels like the Cintämani, etc., and in this way, due to the appropriateness, even by favoritism, etc., their attainment occurs in the next birth, as is heard in the scriptures.
For such worthy yogis as mentioned above, there is never a need to pray for them to listen. Oh, the ignorant ones! Oh, the active cycle yogis! Oh, the knowledgeable ones! Listening is not to be prayed for, no, no, never to be prayed, because due to the lack of reverence, they are naturally inclined towards it. And in this way, it is said - the effort of the virtuous ones, the meritorious ones, is in the great jewels like the Cintämani, etc., because they are established in them, and also in this way, due to the grace, even by favoritism, etc., their attainment occurs in the next birth.
"Indeed, the complete activity (kriya) is not without the attitude (bhava), because it lacks the inherent fruition." - From Pancasaka Sastra
