ઉપસંહાર: દણિભેદથી વેગકથન, “આત્માનુસ્મૃતિ અર્થે
(૬૭૭) પ્રયોજન છે? તે અત્ર સ્પષ્ટ કર્યું છે કે “આત્માનુસ્મૃતિ અથે'; અર્થાત આત્માની પિતાની
અનુસ્મૃતિને અર્થે, પિતાની યાદીને માટે, આત્માથે. જેમ કેઈ આત્માનુ. પિતાને વિસ્મૃતિ ન થાય ને સ્મૃતિ રહે તે માટે, કઈ વિષયની દુકામાં સ્મૃતિ અર્થે યાદી ટપકાવી લે, તેમ આ આચાર્યજી કહે છે કેપિતાને વિસ્મૃતિ ના
થાય ને અનુસ્મૃતિ રહે તે ખાતર મેં આ યોગવિષયની યાદી (Memorandum) હારા પોતાના આત્માના ઉપકારાર્થેઆત્માથે સંક્ષેપમાં સેંધી છે. સંક્ષેપમાં નેધેલી યાદી પર જેમ ઝડપથી નજર ફેરવી જવાય છે, અને તેમાંથી કઈ વસ્તુ થઈ ગઈ ને કઈ રહી ગઈ તેને તુરત જ ખ્યાલ આવે છે, તેમ આ યોગદષ્ટિની સંક્ષિપ્ત યાદી પ્રત્યે ઝડપથી દષ્ટિ ફેરવી જવાય છે, ને તેમાંથી પિતાના આત્મા પરત્વે કઈ ગુણસ્થિતિ પ્રાપ્ત થઈ ગઈ ને કઈ રહી ગઈ, તેને ઝટ ખ્યાલ આવી જાય છે. અને પછી યાદીમાંથી રહી ગયેલી વસ્તુ પ્રત્યે જેમ લક્ષ્ય કેંદ્રિત થાય છે, તેમ અત્રે પણ પ્રાપ્ત થવી રહી ગયેલી સાધ્ય ગુણસ્થિતિ પ્રત્યે લક્ષ્ય કેન્દ્રિત થાય છે, ને અનુક્રમે આત્મપરાક્રમથી તેની સિદ્ધિ થાય છે. આમ આત્માથે–
આ ગાથે આ યાદી અત્યંત ઉપકારી છે. તેથી જ આ પરમ આત્માથી આચાર્યવયને કહેવાનો આશય એ છે કે-હું ગમાર્ગને પ્રવાસી આત્માથી છું, મુમુક્ષુ છું. મોક્ષસાધક યોગમાર્ગે આગળ વધવા
ઈચ્છતે હું ઈચ્છાયોગી સાધક-બસાધુ” છું. અને આ યોગદષ્ટિ કામ એક આત્માની આધ્યાત્મિક પ્રગતિના સીમાચિહ્નરૂપ (Milestone) છે, એ આત્માર્થનું ઉપરથી આત્મદશાનું માપ નીકળી શકે છે. એટલે તે તે ગદષ્ટિના
યક્ત લક્ષણ મહારા પિતાને આત્મામાં છે કે નહિ ? તેનું “અંતર્મુખ અવલોકન” (Introspection) કરતાં સતત ભાન રહે, અનુસ્મરણ રહે, તેની ખાતર કેવળ આત્માથે જ મેં આ ગષ્ટિ ગ્રંથની ગુંથણી કરી છે. જે આ યોગદષ્ટિ નિરંતર દષ્ટિ સન્મુખ હોય, તે મહારા પિતાના આત્માની ગદષ્ટિ કેટલી વિકાસ પામી છે, તેને સ્પષ્ટ ખ્યાલ આવી શકે,–જેથી કરીને પ્રાપ્ત સ્થિતિનું જેમ “ક્ષેમ થાય, સુદઢપણું– સુરક્ષિતપણું થાય, અને અપ્રાપ્તને જેમ “ગ” થાય, તેમ પ્રવર્તાવા માટે મને આત્માનુસ્મૃતિ રહે. આમ કેવળ આત્મકલ્યાણ જ આ ગ્રંથ રચવામાં હેતુ છે. બાકી
