યોગદષ્ટિસમુચિય સમ્યક્ આચારવિશુદ્ધિઅને આવા શુદ્ધ ધર્મની સિદ્ધિના મહિમાથી સમ્યફ આચારવિશુદ્ધિ હોય છે, અર્થાત જ્ઞાનાચાર, દર્શનાચાર, ચારિત્રાચાર, તપાચાર અને વીર્યાચારની ચોક્ત વિશુદ્ધિ થાય છે. એટલે (૧) “જ્ઞાનચરણથે આ યેગી પુરુષ સ્વાધ્યાય કાલ અવલેકે છે, અનેક પ્રકારે વિનય પ્રપંચે છે, દુદ્ધર ઉપધાન વિધિપૂર્વક આદરે છે, સારી પેઠે બહુમાન વિસ્તારે છે, નિતવ દેષાપત્તિ અત્યંત નિવારે છે, અર્થ—વ્યંજન અને તદુભય શુદ્ધિમાં નિતાંત સાવધાન રહે છે. (૨) દર્શનચરણથે પ્રશમરસનિમગ્ન, દઢ સંવેગરંગી, પરમ વૈરાગ્યસંપન્ન, અનુકંપાપરાયણ અને આસ્તિક્યવંત એવા તેઓ શંકા, કાંક્ષા, વિચિકિત્સા અને મૂઢદષ્ટિતાને ઊઠતાં વેંત જ દાબી દેવા માટે નિત્ય બદ્ધપરિકર-ભેઠ બાંધીને તૈયાર રહે છે અને ઉપવૃંહણ, સ્થિતિકરણ, વાત્સલ્ય, તથા પ્રભાવનાને ભાવતાં વારંવાર ઉત્સાહની અભિવૃદ્ધિ કરે છે. (૩) ચારિત્રચરણથે હિંસા, અસત્ય, સ્તેય, અબ્રા અને પરિગ્રહથી સમસ્ત વિરતિરૂપ પંચ મહાવ્રતમાં તેઓ તનિષ્ઠવૃત્તિવાળા હોય છે સમ્યમ્ યેગનિગ્રહરૂપ લક્ષણવાળી ગુપ્તિમાં અત્યંત ઉઘોગી હોય છે, ઈર્ષા, ભાષા, એષણ, આદાનનિક્ષેપ અને ઉત્સર્ગરૂપ સમિતિઓમાં અત્યંત પ્રયત્નશીલ રહે છે. (૪) તપ આચરણથે તેઓ અનશન, અમદર્ય, વૃત્તિપરિસંખ્યાન, રસપરિત્યાગ અને વિવિક્ત શય્યાસનમાં પ્રતિક્ષણે ઉત્સાહ ધરાવે છે; પ્રાયશ્ચિત્ત, વિનય, વૈયાવૃત્ય, વ્યુત્સર્ગ, સ્વાધ્યાય અને ધ્યાનપરિકરથી તેઓ પોતાના અંતઃકરણને અંકુશમાં લાવે છે. (૫) વીર્યચરણાર્થે તેઓ કર્મકાંડમાં સર્વશક્તિથી વ્યાપૃત થાય છે.” આમ કંઈ પણ અતિચાર દોષ ન લાગે એમ તેઓ પંચાચારનું આદર્શ પરિપાલન કરે છે. આવું તેઓનું નિરતિચાર ભાવ અનુષ્ઠાન, સક્રિયાચરણ હોય છે.

દાનધર્મપંચાચાર, જ્ઞાનને અનુસરતી–અનુકૂળ જે સત્ ક્રિયા તેનું નામ “ અનુષ્ઠાન” છે, એટલે આ સમ્યગદષ્ટિ પુરુષને જે આત્મજ્ઞાન ઉપર્યું છે, તે આત્મજ્ઞાનને અનુરૂપ-છાજે એવી આત્માનુચરણરૂપ ભાવકિયા કરવાને-સચ્ચારિત્ર પાળવાને આ યેગી પુરુષ સતત પ્રયત્નપૂર્વક પરમ પુરુષાર્થ કરે છે. આ સાચા સાધુપુરુષને વંદનાદિ અનુષ્ઠાન ઉત્તમ ભાવવાળા હોય છે.
