ભાવાચાર્ય આદિનું જ પરમ માન્યપણું–વંદ્યપણું શ્રી હરિભદ્રસૂરિએ કહ્યું છે. એટલે જેને પંચ પરમેષ્ઠિમાં ગૌરવભર્યું સ્થાન આપવામાં આવ્યું છે એવા ભગવાન આચાર્યાદિની આત્મદશા-ગુણસ્થાનસ્થિતિ કેવી અદ્દભુત, કેવી વીતરાગ, કેવી પ્રશમપ્રધાન હોવી જોઈએ? એની વિવેક વિચારપૂર્વક સમ્યફ પરીક્ષા કરી વિચક્ષણ મુમુક્ષુ તે જેનામાં આત્મજ્ઞાનરૂપ ભાવ–ી પ્રગટયો છે, એવા જાગતી જત જેવા સાક્ષાત્ યેગીસ્વરૂપ ભાવઆચાર્યાદિ પ્રત્યે સંશુદ્ધ સેવાભક્તિ-વૈયાવચ્ચ કરે,આ ઉત્તમ ગબીજ છે.
આતમજ્ઞાની શ્રમણ કહાવે, બીજા તે દ્રવ્યલિંગી રે,
વતુગતે જે વસ્તુ પ્રકાશે, આનંદઘન મત સંગી રે.”—શ્રી આનંદઘનજી. તેમજ સતશ્રત ભક્તિ એ પણ ઉત્તમ ગબીજ છે. સસ્તુશાસ્ત્રનાં લેખન, પૂજન, દાન, શ્રવણ, પ્રકાશન, સ્વાધ્યાય આદિ એ યંગબીજ છે. જ્ઞાનીઓ આપણા માટે અમૂલ્ય જ્ઞાનવારસે મૂકી ગયા છે. જગત્નું મિથ્યાત્વ દારિઘ દૂર કરી તેને પરમાર્થસંપત્તિથી સમૃદ્ધ કરનાર પુરુષનું આ જગતું કેટલું બધું ઋણી છે? આપણે કેટલા બધા રાણી છીએ? આપણે આ પરમાર્થડણ કેમ ચૂકાવી શકીએ ? એ વિચાર કર્તવ્ય છે. “નં મોનો નારાહતો જાતક: વિત્તાય' તેમ જ્ઞાનરૂપ પારમાર્થિક ધનની પણ એ જ સ્થિતિ છે. કાં તે એનું દાન થાય, ભેગા થાય, નહિં તે નાશ થાય. જ્ઞાનનું દાન પણ પિતે જ્ઞાનનો અભ્યાસી હોય તે જ કરી શકે, તે જ જ્ઞાન પ્રવાહ વહેતે રહે. ભગ તે રસપૂર્વક તે જ્ઞાનના અધ્યાત્મરસને ઉપભેગ કરી યથેચ્છ આનંદ લૂંટવાથી થઈ શકે. તેમ ન થાય તે તેની ત્રીજી ગતિ જ શેષ રહે છે. માટે આપણે જે જ્ઞાનીને વારસો સાચવી રાખવો હોય, તે આપણે પરમ ગૌરવ-બહુમાનપૂર્વક તેને રસાસ્વાદ લેવા જોઇએ. વૈદિક ધર્મવાળા કહે છે તેમ આપણે જીવિત્રાણ-જ્ઞાની પુરુષ પ્રત્યેનું ઋણ માત્ર નિરંતર સ્વાધ્યાયથી ચૂકવી શકીએ એટલે તે ચૂકવવા માટે આપણે પરમ ઉપકારી જ્ઞાનીઓના અદ્ભુત જ્ઞાનનિધાનને પિતાના ઉપકારાર્થે આત્મહિતકારી સદુપયોગ કરી, જગતુમાં ઉદારપણે તે પરમ શ્રુતની પ્રભાવના કરવી જોઈએ. અર્થાત્ નિરંતર નિયમપૂર્વક સ્વાધ્યાયથી-અખંડ જ્ઞાનયજ્ઞથી તે વચનામૃતની પિતાના આત્મામાં પ્રભાવના-પ્રકૃષ્ટ ભાવના કરવી જોઈએ. અને આમ કર્યું હશે તે જ આવા ભાવિતાત્મા ધીમંત જ આ જ્ઞાનભંડાર પિતાની પ્રજ્ઞારૂપ ચાવીથી ખાલી તેમાંથી ગ્રંથરત્નો સંશે ધીરે જગતમાં તેને પ્રભાવના કરી શકશે. આવા પુય કાર્યમાં જ્યારે શ્રીમંત-ધીમંતનો ઉત્તમ સડકાર જામશે, જ્યારે ધીમાતાની જ્ઞાનગંગા શ્રીમતોની ધનયમુના સાથે ભળી સરસ્વતીનો સંગમ સાધશે, ત્યારે તે ત્રિવેણી સંગમમાં નિમજજન કરી જગત્ પાવન બનશે, ત્યારે જગતુમાં જ્ઞાનીની વાણીનો જયજયકાર થશે, અને આથી યે ગબીજને પરમ લાભ પામેલા પુણ્યવંત આત્માઓને પણ જયજયકાર થશે !-આ બોધ અત્રે ફલિત થાય છે.
આમ ભક્તિ ઉપર શાસ્ત્રકાર ભગવાને સૌથી વિશેષ ભાર મૂકે છે. પ્રભુભક્તિ,

Similarly, the state of the wealth of the ultimate goal in the form of knowledge is the same. Either it is given away, accumulated, or it is destroyed. Only one who is a student of knowledge can give the gift of knowledge, only then the flow of knowledge continues. It can be achieved by enjoying the spiritual nectar of knowledge with relish and reaping the desired bliss. If that doesn't happen, then only the third state remains. Therefore, we should enjoy the legacy of the knower with utmost respect and honor. As the Vedic religionists say, we can repay the debt towards the living beings and the knowers only through continuous self-study. Therefore, to repay this debt, we should use the wonderful treasure of knowledge of the supremely benevolent knowers for the benefit of the self and the world, and spread the influence of the ultimate scriptures generously. In other words, we should constantly and regularly perform the continuous knowledge-sacrifice through self-study, and instill the essence of the scriptures in the soul. Only those who have such a soul, who are like diamonds, will be able to open the treasure of knowledge with the key of wisdom, and gradually spread it in the world. When the rich and the wise come together in this noble work, when the river of knowledge of the wise merges with the river of wealth of the rich, and creates the confluence of Saraswati, then by immersing oneself in this triveni sangam, the world will become pure. Then, the world will resound with the victory of the words of the knower, and the virtuous souls who have benefited from this seed will also be victorious. - This understanding is revealed here.
