બને છે તેમ; પણ આ તે કોઈ સમર્થ યોગી વિશેષને યોગ્ય એવો એકપદીરૂપ માર્ગ છે, અને તેમાં અતિશય અસાધારણ બળ વાપરવું પડે છે. મથી મથીને મરી જાય તે પણ પ્રગટ પરમાત્મસ્વરૂપના અવલંબન વિના પિતાની મેળે પરમપદની પ્રાપ્તિ દુર્ઘટ છે; પણ તે પરમ પુરુષના અવલંબને તે સાવ સુઘટ-સુગમ થઈ પડે છે. જે સંસાર સમુદ્ર સમાન તર અતિ દુસ્તર છે, તે પ્રભુના અવલંબને ગષ્પદ સમાન બની જાય છે! એટલા માટે શ્રી દેવચંદ્રજી જેવા ભક્તશિરોમણિ મહાત્મા ગાઈ ગયા છે કે-જિનઆલંબની નિરાલંબતા પામી નિજ આલંબની થાય છે, તેથી અમે તે તે સમર્થ પ્રભુનું પ્રબળ અવલંબન ગ્રહી નિજ ગુણના શુદ્ધ નંદનવન માં રમશું. તે એટલે સુધી કે નિજ સંપદાયુક્ત આત્મતત્ત્વ
જ્યાં સુધી સંપૂર્ણ નહિં થાય ત્યાંસુધી હું આ જગગુરુ દેવના ચરણ સદાય સેવ્યા કરીશ, થાવત્ બારમાં ક્ષીણમેહ ગુણસ્થાનના અંતપયત તેનું અવલંબન હું છોડીશ નહિં.
અતિ દુસ્તર જે જલધિ સમે સંસાર જો, તે ગેપદ સમ કીધે પ્રભુ અવલંબને રે ; જિન અલબની નિરાલંબની થાયે જે, તિણે હમ રમશું નિજ ગુણ શુદ્ધ નંદનવને રે લે.
શુદ્ધ તત્વ નિજ સંપદા, જ્યાં લગી પૂર્ણ ન થાય રે;
ત્યાં લગી જગગુરુ દેવના, એવું ચરણ સદાય રે.”—–શ્રી દેવચંદ્રજી. આમ ભક્તિને સર્વ શાસ્ત્રકારોએ એકી અવાજે વખાણી છે. *ગીતામાં પણ કહ્યું છે કે-“સર્વ વેગીઓમાં પણ મને પામેલા અંતરાત્માથી જે શ્રદ્ધાવાન મને ભજે છે, તે મને યુક્તતમ મત છે.” ભક્તિ એ મુક્તિને રાજમાર્ગ છે. “જિનપતિ ભક્તિ મુક્તિને મારગ” એમ ભક્તરાજ દેવચંદ્રજી કહે છે, “જિન ભાવ વિના કબૂ' નહિં છૂટતા દુઃખદાવ” એમ પરમ ભાવિતાત્મા શ્રીમદ્ રાજચંદ્રજીનું અનુભવવચન ભાખે છે.
શાસ્ત્રસમુદ્રનું અવગાહન કરતાં મને આ સાર મળ્યો કે ભગવની ભક્તિ એ જ પરમાનંદ સંપદાઓનું બીજ છે, ”—એમ સર્વ શાસ્ત્ર પારંગત શ્રી યશવિજયજીનું સુભાષિત છે.*
જેમ જિનભક્તિ ઉત્તમ ગબીજ છે, તેમ સદ્દગુરુભક્તિ પણ ઉત્તમ યોગબીજ છે. શ્રી હરિભદ્રસૂરિજી કહે છે કે “ભાવગી એવા ભાવ આચાર્ય, ભાવઉપાધ્યાય, ભાવસાધુ, ભાવતપસ્વી આદિ પ્રત્યે પણ જે વિશુદ્ધ કુશલ ચિત્તાદિ લેવું તે ગબીજ છે,–નહિ કે દ્રવ્યાચાર્ય આદિ પ્રત્યે.” અહીં “ભાવ” શબ્દ પર શાસ્ત્રકારે ખાસ ભાર મૂકે છે ભાવથી–પરમાર્થની જેના આત્મામાં યોગ પરિણમે છે. જે સાચા ભાવગી છે, જે શુદ્ધ આત્મજ્ઞાની હોઈ સાચા ગુરુ છે, જેનામાં આચાર્ય આદિમાં હોવા યોગ્ય એવા શાસ્ત્રોક્ત યથાર્થ આદર્શ ભાવ-ગુણ વત્ત છે, એવા ખરેખરા ભાવાચાર્ય–ભાવસાધુ આદિ જ વંદન કરવા યોગ્ય ઉત્તમ પાત્ર છે,-નહિ કે દ્રવ્યાચાર્ય-દ્રવ્યસાધુ આદિ; માટે
યોનિનામા જેવાં મદૂતે
નામના | શ્રદ્ધાવાન માતે યો માં તમે તો મતઃ | » ગીતા “ તમયા ટદઉં શ્રતાપેarriદનાનો મતિમાવતો વીકે પરમાનંઉંઉલાઇ ” હા. હા.
