Devout Spiritual Practices with Reverence and Contemplation
(219) The girl does not make a fuss; rather, she goes everywhere calmly and undisturbed, carefully ensuring that no life-injury occurs, and walks with a steady, grave gait, and properly observes all the rituals. For example,
Adorning the pure body with the essence of the substance, we joyfully go to the temple; even while observing the three-fold restraint, we become one-pointed. ... "Auspicious" Sri Anandghanji "Swami, I go to the self-luminous one with joy, a thousand times" -Sri Devachandraji
Alas! She will run away, that one will loot, and I will be left behind. Some will perform the first worship, and I will be left behind lying on the platform, the darshan opened and immediately closed, so let me run quickly. Come, come! That one has to go somewhere urgently, so let me somehow complete this worship of the Lord, let me quickly, quickly do a few lamps for this Lord and hurriedly complete the worship ritual, placing these three piles of rice "take it with you and put it there" and depart immediately! - In this way, the girl expressing such hurried thoughts does not arise in this seeker. She goes everywhere calmly, peacefully, and undisturbed.
And due to her utmost composure, this seeker performs every activity with contemplation, with a vigilant mind, with one-pointedness. For example, when he performs the worship of the deities and gurus, he carefully observes every detail of the place, time, etc., and uses the words of the devotional texts and hymns with attentiveness, not creating any disturbance or confusion for other devotees, but making the appropriate devotional mood sweet-sounding for others as well, indicating intense devotion and enthusiasm. And while performing this devotional act, his feelings and goosebumps arise, his auspicious intentions increase - his emotional state keeps elevating. He properly observes the rituals of prostration, etc. Thus, he performs the worship of the desired deities and gurus with complete absorption.
