ગિદષ્ટિસમુચ્ચય નથી; તે પણ તેવા સર્વથા નિઃસ્પૃહ મહાજનેની બનતી સેવા કરવી, તે મુમુક્ષુ આત્માથીને ધર્મ છે, જીવનનો અપૂર્વ લહાવો છે, તેઓના ચરણે જે કંઈ પણ અર્પણ કરીએ તે ઓછું છે, કારણ કે તેઓને પરમ ઉપકાર છે. એમ જાણતો હોઈ, તે પિતાથી બનતી સેવારૂપ ફૂલપાંખડી-“વä પુર્ણ કરું તોયં ”–ભક્તિથી તેમના ચરણકમલમાં અર્પણ કરે છે.
“શું પ્રભુ ચરણ કને ધરૂં? આત્માથી સહુ હીન; તે તે પ્રભુએ આપિઓ, વરતું ચરણાધીન. આ દેહાદિ આજથી, વરતે પ્રભુ આધીન
દાસ દાસ હું દાસ છું, તેહ પ્રભુનો દીન.” શ્રી આત્મસિદ્ધિ અને આવા સત્પાત્ર ભાવગીઓ પ્રત્યેને આ ઉપચાર-વિનયાન્વિત સેવાધર્મ જેગી જનને ચેકકસ યોગગુણની વૃદ્ધિરૂપ ફલ આપે છે. જેમાં ઉત્તમ ક્ષેત્રમાં વાવેલું એક પણ
બીજ પરંપરાએ અનંતગણું ફલ આપનારૂં થઈ પડે છે, તેમ આવા ગવૃદ્ધિ લ સત્પાત્ર સંતજનોની સેવા અનંતગણું ફલ આપનારી થઈ પડે છે,
આત્માને ઉત્તરોત્તર ધર્મવૃદ્ધિનું-ખરેખરા “ધર્મલાભ’નું કારણ થાય છે. નિષ્કામ સેવાનો લાભ આપી પોતે ગવૃદ્ધિરૂપ પ્રતિલાભ પામે છે, અને એટલા માટે જ આ આત્મારામી સપુરુષની સેવા-ભક્તિવડે હું પિતાને જ અનુગ્રહ કરૂં છું, મહારા પિતાના આત્મા પર જ ઉપકાર કરી રહ્યો છું, એમ સેવા કરનારે ચોક્કસ ભાવવું જોઈએ. આનાથી હું મહારા આત્માને જ સંસારસમુદ્રથી તારૂં છું, એવી આત્મ અનુગ્રહ બુદ્ધિ ઉગવી જોઈએ. આમ આ દૃષ્ટિમાં વતે યોગી શુદ્ધ યેગીઓ પ્રત્યે બહુમાન ધરાવવા ઉપરાંત, યથાશક્તિ-ઉચિતપણે તેમની સેવાભક્તિ કરે, અને તે પણ પિતાના આત્માની અનુગ્રહ બુદ્ધિથી જ.
આ ઉપચારને જ વિશેષણ આપે છે–
लाभान्तरफलश्चास्य श्रद्धायुक्तो हितोदयः । क्षुद्रोपद्रवहानिश्च शिष्टसम्मतता तथा ॥ ४४ ॥ અન્ય લાભ ફલ તસ એ, શ્રદ્ધાયુત આ એમ;
નિરુપદ્રવતા હિત ઉદય, શિષ્ટ સંમતતા તેમ. ૪૪, આ વૃત્તિ –ામાનતભ્રસ્ટાચ-અને-- ઉપચારકર્તાને લાભાનતેર ફલવાળા -શુદ્ધ ઉપચારના પુણ્યથકી તચાપ્રકારના વિપાકભાવને લીધે. એટલા માટે જ-શ્રદ્ધાયુકતો-શ્રદ્ધાયુક્ત એ ઉપચાર, એમ ચાલું સંબંધ છે. હિતોઃ -જેમાં હિતને ઉદય હોય છે એ, આગળની જેમ. શુદ્રોપદ્રવાનિચ-અને ક્ષુદ્ર ઉપદ્રની હાનિ હોય છે. એથી કરીને જ વ્યાધિ આદિને નાશ હોય છે. શિષ્યનક્ષતતા તથા તથા પ્રકારે શિસમ્મતતા, શિષ્ટજનનું માન્યપણું, એથી કરીને જ આનું અતિ સુંદર બહુમાન હોય છે.
