વાસદૃષ્ટિ : સંતસેવાથી અન્ય લાભ ફળ
(૧૯૩) અર્થ અને એ ઉપચાર એને બીજા લાભરૂપ ફળ આપનાર અને શ્રદ્ધાથી યુક્ત એ હિતેાદયરૂપ હોય છે. અને તેમાં શુદ્ર ઉપદ્રની હાનિ તથા શિષ્ટજનેનું સંમતપણું– માન્યપણું હોય છે.
વિવેચન ઉપરમાં જે ઉપચાર અથવા સેવાધર્મ કહ્યો તે વળી કે વિશિષ્ટ હોય છે, કેવા વિશેષ ગુણવાળો હોય છે, તે અહીં કહ્યું છે તેવા પ્રકારે સત્પુરુષની સાચા ભાવથી સેવા
ભક્તિ કરનારને બીજા લાભારૂપ ફળ પણ મળે છે. કારણ કે તેના સેવા યોગમહિમા ભક્તિથી પુણ્યદયની પ્રાપ્તિ હોય છે, અને તેના વિપાકથી સુરપતિ–નર
પતિ સંપદા વગેરે અન્ય લાભરૂ૫ ફળ સાંપડે છે. જેમ જારની પાછળ સાંઠા તે હોય જ, જેમ ફળ પહેલાં ફૂલની પ્રાપ્તિ હોય જ, તેમ સસેવાના ભેગવૃદ્ધિરૂપ ફલની સાથે સાથે ઇંદ્ર-ચક્રવત્તપદ આદિ આનુષંગિક ફળરૂપ પુણ્યપરિપાકની પ્રાપ્તિ હોય છે. કારણ કે ‘ગ * છે તે ઉત્તમ કલ્પવૃક્ષ છે, પરમ ચિંતામણિરત્ન છે, સર્વ ધર્મોમાં પ્રધાન છે, સિદ્ધિને સ્વયંગ્રહ છે” તેનાથી શું શું ફલ પ્રાપ્ત ન થાય ? આમ કલ્પવૃક્ષની જેમ વાંચ્છિત લાભ આપનાર આ સંતજન પ્રત્યેને સેવાધર્મ શ્રદ્ધાથી યુક્ત હોય છે. કારણ કે શુદ્ધ શ્રદ્ધા વિનાનો વિચાર શા કામને? માટે આ મુમુક્ષુ તે શ્રદ્ધાથી સત્પુરુષની સેવા કરે છે.
અને આ આ શ્રદ્ધાયુક્ત હોય છે, તેથી કરીને આ મુમુક્ષુ જોગીજનને હિતને ઉદય થાય છે. એટલે તે આત્મહિતના --આત્મકલ્યાણના કાર્યમાં પ્રવર્તે છે, ને તેમાં તેની ચઢતી કળા થતી જાય છે. જેમ ઉદય પામતે સૂર્ય ઉત્તરોત્તર વધારે પ્રકાશમાન થત જાય છે, જેમ શુકલ* પક્ષને ચંદ્ર દિન-પ્રતિદિન ચઢતી કળાને પામતે જાય છે, તેમ આ આત્માથી પુરુષને ઉત્તરોત્તર વધારે ને વધારે બળવાન આત્મહિતની પ્રાપ્તિ થતી જાય છે, હિત પરંપરાથી હિતને અનુબંધ થયા કરે છે.
