ભિનંદી જી આ મેક્ષમાગ પામવા ધારે તે પણ પામી શકે નહિ. વળી ગબિન્દુમાં કહ્યું છે તેમ ભવાભિનદી જીવ માનાર્થને-લોકેષણાને ભૂખ્યો હોઈ “લેકપંક્તિમાં * બેસનારે હોય છે, અર્થાત્ લેકારાધન હેતુઓલેકને રીઝવવા ખાતર મલિન અંતરાત્માથી સતક્રિયા કરે છે, અને તેથી તે એને મહાઅનર્થંકર-દુરંત ફલદાયી થઈ પડે છે; કારણ કે જગતને રૂડું દેખાડી ધમીમાં ખપવા ખાતર ભવાભિનંદી જીવ, કેવળ આત્માથે જ કરવા યોગ્ય એવી ધર્મક્રિયાને પણ માનાથે ઉપયોગ કરે છે, અને તુચ્છ એવા લૌકિક માન-પૂજા-સત્કારાદિ ખાતર મહતું એવી તે ધર્મક્રિયાનું લીલામ કરવા જેવો હીન ઉપયોગ કરે છે અને આમ તેનું ખુલ્લું અપમાન કરી ઘેર આશાતના કરે છે. આવી લેકેષણારૂપ લેકપંક્તિ અને કેત્તર એવું આત્મકલ્યાણ એ બેને કદી મળતી પાણ આવે નહિં. અને પરમાથે વિચારીએ તે લેકોત્તર કલ્યાણરૂપ આત્માર્થ પાસે લેકેષણરૂપ માનાર્થનું મૂલ્ય બે બદામનું પશુ નથી, છતાં મહદ્ આશ્ચર્ય છે કે એક ભવના તુચ્છ કલ્પિત લાભની ખાતર અનંત ભવનું દુઃખ વહાલું ગણી “ભવાભિનંદી” પોતાના નામને સાર્થક કરે છે ! એ જ પ્રકારે અંતમાં જેને ભેગાદિની ને પૂજાદિની કામના બન્યા કરે છે છતાં મુખેથી જે જ્ઞાનની ને “અનાસક્ત યોગની વાત કરે છે, તે સગરહિત વિદ્વાનોની-પંડિતમની પણ એ જ દશા છે! ગબિંદુમાં હરિભદ્રસૂરિજીએ કહ્યું છે તેમ મૂઢ જનને જેમ પુત્ર-દારાદિ સંસાર છે, તેમ સગ રહિત વિદ્વાનોનX “શાઅસંસાર” છે ! આમ મૂઢ હોય કે વિદ્વાન હય, જેને અંતરમાં ભવદુ:ખ વહાલું હોય અને પૂજાદિની કામના અંતરૂમાં વસ્ય કરતી હોય, એ ભવાભિનંદી જીવ મેક્ષના આ મૂળ માર્ગના શ્રવણને પણ અધિકારી કેમ હોય?

“જગને રૂડું દેખાડવા અનંતવાર પ્રયત્ન કર્યું; તેથી રૂડું થયું નથી, કેમકે પરિભ્રમણ અને પરિભ્રમણના હેતુઓ હજુ પ્રત્યક્ષ રહ્યા છે. એક ભવ જે આત્માનું રૂડું થાય તેમ વ્યતીત કરવામાં જશે, તે અનંત ભવનું સાટું વળી રહેશે; એમ હું લધુત્વભાવે સમયે છીં; અને તેમ કરવામાં જ મારી પ્રવૃત્તિ છે. ”—શ્રીમદ્ રાજચંદ્રજી.

Thus, whether ignorant or learned, those who cherish worldly suffering and whose hearts are filled with desires for worship, how can such Bhava-abhinandi be eligible to hear the path of liberation?
