શાકે યોગદષ્ટિનું સામાન્ય કથન
(૫૫) આધારરૂપ ભૂમિકા–પીડિક બરાબર સમજવા માટે પ્રથમ એ ઉક્ત ઈચ્છાગાદિ યોગોનું વર્ણન અત્યંત ઉપયોગી અને આવશ્યક હતું, એમ આ ઉપરથી ફલિત થયું.
અને તે આ છે –
मित्रा तारा बला दीपा स्थिग कांता प्रभा परा। नामानि योगदृष्टीनां लक्षणं च निबोधत ॥ १३ ॥ મિત્રા તાર ને બેલા, દીપ્રા સ્થિર તેમ; કાંતા પ્રભા અને પરા, દૃષ્ટિ આઠ છે એમ,
ગદષ્ટિના નામ એ, અર્થતણે અનુસાર
લક્ષણ તેનું સાંભળે, હવે અહીં ક્રમવાર. ૧૩. અર્થ:-મિત્રા, તારા, બલા, દીપ્રા, સ્થિરા, કાંતા, પ્રભા અને પરા–એમ આ યોગદષ્ટિઓના નામ છે. અને એઓનું લક્ષણ સાંભળો !
તે એઘદષ્ટિ બતાવવા માટે કહે છે –
समेघामेघराज्यादौ सग्रहाद्यर्भकादिवत् । ओधष्टिरिह ज्ञेया, मिथ्यादृष्टीतराश्रया ॥ १४ ॥
વૃત્તિ –તેમાં મિત્રા જેવી તે મિત્રા, તારા જેવી તે તારા; ઈત્યાદિ યથાર્થ જ નાનાનિ-નામ, ગબ્દીનાચગદષ્ટિઓના છે. અને એનું ઢક્ષઊં-લક્ષણ જે કહેવામાં આવે છે તે, નિત-શ્રવણ કરો. સાંભળે! એમ અર્થ છે. અહીં એધદષ્ટિનો વ્યવચછેદ (અપવાદ) કરવા માટે યોગદષ્ટિ ? એમ ગ્રહણ કર્યું છે.
વૃત્તિઃ––અહીં એધદષ્ટિ, જ્ઞાનાવરણીય આદિ કર્મના ક્ષપશમની વિચિત્રતાને લીધે ચિત્ર–નાના પ્રકારની હોય છે.
સમેઘાઘરાવ્યાવીસમેઘ-અમેધ, મેધવાળા કે મેઘ વિનાના, રાત્રી આદિમાં. આદિ શબ્દથી દિવસનું ગ્રહણ છે, એટલે મેધવાળા કે મેઘ વગરના રાત કે દિવસમાં.
સાર્માલિવ-સંગ્રહ આદિ અને અર્ભક આદિની જેમ. પહેલા આદિ શબ્દથી અસહન ગ્રહણ છે, બીજા આદિ શબ્દથી અનભંકનું ગ્રહણ છે. એટલે ગ્રહસહિત કે ગ્રહરહિત, એવા બાલ કે અબાલની જેમ. (ગ્રહ=ભૂત, ઝોડ વગેરે).
જોબદિર – દષ્ટિ, સામાન્ય દર્શન. તે ભાવાભિનંદી જીવવિષયી છે. એટલે કે ભભિનંદી-સંસારથી રાચનારા જીવને આ હેાય છે.
શિવાદીતાશા-મિથ્યાદૃષ્ટિ આશ્રયી કે અમિથ્યાદષ્ટિ આશ્રયી. કાચ (મોતી-પડલ) વગેરેથી જેની દષ્ટિ ઉપહત-બાધિત છે તે મિથ્યાદિ. તેનાથી ઉપઘાત નથી પામેલ તે અમિથ્યાદૃષ્ટિ, આભ અક્ષરગમનિકા (શબ્દાર્થની સમજૂતી) થઈ. અને ભાવાર્થ તે આ છે: -
