भावार्थ : अध्यात्मशास्त्ररूपी सुराज्य प्राप्त होने पर धर्म का मार्ग सरल हो जाता है, पापरूपी चोर भाग जाता है तथा किसी प्रकार का उपद्रव नहीं होता है ॥ १३॥ येषामध्यात्मशास्त्रार्थतत्त्वं परिणतं हृदि । कषाय-विषयावेश-क्लेशस्तेषां न कर्हिचित् ॥१४॥
भावार्थ : जिनके हृदय में आध्यात्मशास्त्र के भावार्थ का तत्व (रहस्य) पच (परिणत हो) गया है, उन्हें कभी क्रोधादि कषायों का क्लेश (परिताप) नहीं होता । क्योंकि वे अपने मन और इन्द्रियों को अपने काबू में रखते हैं ||१४||
निर्दयः कामचाण्डालः पण्डितानपि पीडयेत् । यदि नाध्यात्मशास्त्रार्थबोध - योधकृपा भवेत् ॥१५॥

भावार्थ : यदि अध्यात्मशास्त्र के अर्थबोध - रूपी योद्धा की सहानुभूति (कृपा) न हो तो निर्दय काम - चांडाल पंडितजनों को भी पीड़ित कर देता है | अर्थात् न्याय-व्याकरण आदि शास्त्रों के पण्डित भी बालचेष्टा के समान कामक्रीड़ा करते देखे जाते हैं, तो फिर मामूली आदमियों की तो बात ही क्या ? ॥१५॥ विषवल्लिसमां तृष्णां वर्धमानां मनोवने । अध्यात्मशास्त्रदात्रेण छिन्दन्ति परमर्षयः ॥ १६ ॥
भावार्थ : परमऋषिराज अध्यात्मशास्त्ररूपी हंसिये से मनरूपी वन में विषलता के समान बढ़ती हुई तृष्णा का छेदन कर देते हैं ॥१६॥
