अध्यात्म-शास्त्रसम्भूत-संतोष-सुखशालिनः । गणयन्ति न राजानं न श्रीदं नापि वासवम् ॥१०॥
भावार्थ : अध्यात्मशास्त्र के आस्वादन से उत्पन्न सन्तोषसुख से सुशोभित योगीजन अपने सुख के सामने राजा, कुबेर, इन्द्र आदि के सुखों को कुछ भी नहीं गिनते ॥१०॥ यः किलाशिक्षिताध्यात्मशास्त्रः पाण्डित्यमिच्छति । उत्क्षिपत्यंगुली पंगुः स स्वर्द्रफललिप्सया ॥११॥
भावार्थ : जो मनुष्य अध्यात्मशास्त्र का अध्ययन किये बिना ही विद्वत्ता-पाण्डित्य चाहता है, वह उस पंगु के समान है, जो कल्पवृक्ष के फल लेने की इच्छा से उंगली ऊँची करता है ॥११॥ दंभपर्वतदंभोलिः सौहार्दाम्बुधिचन्द्रमाः । अध्यात्मशास्त्रमुत्ताल-मोहजालवनानलः ॥१२॥
भावार्थ : अध्यात्मशास्त्र दंभ (कपट) रूपी पर्वत को चकनाचूर करने में वज्र के समान है, समस्त जीवों के प्रति मैत्रीभावरूपी समुद्र की तरंगों को बढ़ाने में चन्द्रमा के समान है और विकट महामोहजालरूपी वन को जलाने में दावानल के समान है ॥१२॥ अध्वा धर्मस्य सुस्थः स्यात्पापचौरः पलायते । अध्यात्मशास्त्र-सौराज्ये न स्यात्कश्चिदुपप्लवः ॥१३॥
