वीरत्थुई अध्ययनं . ठिईण सेट्ठा लवसत्तमा वा सभा सुहम्मा व सभाण सेट्ठा । निव्वाण सेट्ठा जह सव्वधम्मा, ण णायपुत्ता परमत्थि नाणी ॥२४॥ छाया - स्थितीनां श्रेष्ठाः लवसप्तमा वा, सभा सुधर्मा व सभानां श्रेष्ठा ।
निर्वाणश्रेष्ठा यथा सर्वे धर्माः, न ज्ञातपुत्रात् परोऽस्ति ज्ञानी ॥ अनुवाद - जिस प्रकार सभी स्थिति युक्तों में पांच अनुत्तर विमानवासी देव प्रधान-श्रेष्ठ हैं, सभी सभाओं में जिस प्रकार सुधर्मा सभा उत्तम है, सभी धर्मों में जैसे निर्वाण-मोक्ष श्रेष्ठ हैं, उसी प्रकार ज्ञानियों में भगवान महावीर सर्वश्रेष्ठ है।
टीका - स्थितिमतां मध्ये यथा 'लवसत्तमाः' पञ्चानुत्तरविमानवासिनो देवाः सर्वोत्कृष्टस्थितिवर्तिनः प्रधानाः, यदि किल तेषां सप्त लवा आयुष्यकर्मभविष्यत्ततः सिद्धिगमनमभविष्यदित्यतो लवसत्तमास्तेऽभिधीयन्ते 'सभानां च' पर्षदां च मध्ये यथा सौधर्माधिपपर्षच्छ्रेष्ठा बहुभिः क्रीड़ास्थानैरूपेतत्वात्तथा यथा सर्वेऽपि धर्मा 'निर्वाणश्रेष्ठाः' मोक्षप्रधाना भवन्ति कुप्रावचनिका अपि निर्वाणफलमेव स्वदर्शनं ब्रुवते यतः एवं 'ज्ञातपुत्रात्' वीरवर्धमानस्वामिनः सर्वज्ञात् सकाशात् 'परं' प्रधानं अन्यद्विज्ञानं नास्ति, सर्वथैव भगवानपरज्ञानिभ्याऽधिक ज्ञानो भवतीति भावः ॥२४ किञ्चान्यत् - ___ टीकार्थ - सब स्थित युक्तों में लवसप्तम-पाँच अनुत्तर विमानवासी देव.उत्कृष्ट स्थिति लिए होते हैं, इसलिए वे प्रधान है क्योंकि मनुष्य भव में धर्म का आचरण करते हए यदि उनकी आय सात लव अधिक होती तो वे केवलज्ञान प्राप्त कर मोक्ष में चले जाते । इस कारण वे लवसप्तम् देव कहे जाते हैं । सभाओं में जिस प्रकार इन्द्र की सभा, जो सुधर्मा नाम द्वारा अभिहित है, सबसे उत्तम है क्योंकि उसमें अनेक क्रीड़ा स्थल बने हैं । समस्त धर्मों में जिस प्रकार मोक्ष प्रधान है क्योंकि कुप्रावचनिक-मिथ्यामतवादी भी अपने दर्शन का फल मोक्ष ही बतलाते हैं । इन सबकी तरह सभी ज्ञानियों में भगवान महावीर से बड़ा चढ़ा. कोई दूसरा ज्ञानी नहीं है । वे सबसे अधिक ज्ञानी हैं । ज्ञान में सर्वश्रेष्ठ हैं ।
पुढोवमे धुणइ विगयगेही, न सण्णिहिं कुव्वति आसपन्ने । तरिउं समुदं व महाभवोधं, अभयंकरे वीर अणंत चक्खू ॥२५॥ छाया - पृथ्व्युपमो धुनाति विगतगृद्धिः, न सन्निधिं करोत्याशुप्रज्ञः ।
तरीत्वा समुद्रमिव महा भवौघ मभयङ्करो वीरोऽनन्त चक्षुः ॥ अनुवाद - पृथ्वी जैसे समग्र प्राणियों का आधार है उसी तरह भगवान महावीर सबके आधार हैं । वे अपने अष्ठविध कर्मों का धुनन-नाश करने वाले हैं । विगत गृद्धि-आसक्ति रहित हैं । वे आशु प्रज्ञ-परम प्रखर प्रज्ञाशील हैं । क्रोध आदि के सम्पर्क से रहित हैं । समुद्र की तरह अनन्त संसार को पार कर वे मोक्षगत हैं। वे प्राणियों के लिए अभयप्रद हैं । वीर-परम पराक्रमशाली हैं और अनन्तज्ञानी हैं ।
____टीका - स हि भगवान् यथा पृथिवी सकलाधारा वर्तते तथा सर्वसत्त्वानामभयप्रदानतः सदुपदेशदानाद्वा सत्त्वाधार इति, यदिवा-यथा पृथ्वी सर्वं सहा एवं भगवान् परीषहोपसर्गान् सम्यक् सहत इति, तथा 'धुनाति'

Or, just as the earth bears all things, so too does the Jina bear all the afflictions and temptations. He destroys the karmas, because he is free from greed and attachment. He is quick-witted and has the sharpest intellect. He is free from the contact of anger and other passions. He has crossed the ocean of the endless cycle of births and deaths, and attained liberation. He is fearless and gives fearlessness to all beings. He is a hero, a man of great strength, and he has infinite knowledge. ||25||
