स्वसमय वक्तव्यताधिकारः और न वह क्रमशः क्रियाएं कर सकता । यदि वह देव अनित्य है तो उत्पत्ति के अनन्तर स्वयं विनाशशील होने के कारण वह अपना भी त्राण-रक्षा करने में सक्षम नहीं है फिर वह दूसरे की उत्पत्ति या निष्पत्ति हेतु उद्यम किस प्रकार कर सकता है । फिर सवाल खड़ा होता है जिस देव ने इस जगत की रचना की वह मूर्त है अथवा अमूर्त । यदि वह अमूर्त है-निराकार है तो वह आकाश की तरह अकर्ता है । आकाश निराकार है, उसमें किसी प्रकार का कर्तृत्व नहीं है, वही देव के साथ घटित होगा । यदि वह मूर्त है तो कार्य की निष्पत्ति हेतु एक साधारण पुरुष को जैसे उपकरणों की-साधनों की आवश्यकता होती है उसे भी साधनों की . आवश्यकता होगी। साधन कहां से आयेंगे । ऐसी स्थिति में वह समस्त लोक का सर्जक नहीं है, यह बिल्कुल साफ है। .
