स्वसमय वक्तव्यताधिकारः । है ? चैतसिक संक्लेश या क्लिष्टता से निश्चय ही कर्मों का बंध होता है । इस संबंध में आपके और हमारे विचारों में सहमति है । अतः पुत्र हंता पिता को निष्पाप प्रतिपादित करना अनुचित है ।
उक्तवादी द्वारा किसी अन्य स्थान पर जो यह प्रतिपादित किया गया कि किसी अन्य व्यक्ति के हाथ द्वारा ग्रहण किये गये अंगार से दूसरे का हाथ नहीं जलता, उसी प्रकार दूसरे व्यक्ति के द्वारा व्यापादित प्राणी के आमिष भोजन से पाप बंध नहीं होता-यह कथन भी एक पागल के प्रलाप या बकवास जैसा है-सुनने लायक नहीं है । वास्तविकता यह है कि किसी अन्य व्यक्ति द्वारा व्यापादित प्राणी का भी मांस खाने पर उसमें खाने वाले का अनुमोदन तो अवश्य ही होता है । अनुमोदन होने पर कर्मों का बंधना जरूरी है। अन्य दर्शनवादी भी यह निरुपित करते हैं कि जो पशु को मारने का अनुमोदन करता है, पशु के अवयवों को उछिन्न करकाटकर पृथक् पृथक् करता है, पशु को मारने हेतु उसे, जहां मारना है उस स्थान पर ले जाता है, पशु को व्यापादन हेतु खरीदता है या बेचता है, पशु का मांस पकाता है, उस मांस को खाता है-ये आठ व्यक्ति हिंसक है जो पशु के घात से पापोपलिप्त होते हैं । पूर्वोक्त मतवादियों ने पशु की हिंसा करना, दूसरे से करवाना तथा करते हुए का अनुमोदन करना-इनमें जो पाप होने का निरूपण किया है वह वीतराग प्रभु के सिद्धान्त को अंशतः उन द्वारा आस्वादित किये जाने का-चखने का संकेत है । इसलिये चार प्रकार के कर्म उपचित नहीं होते, उनका बंध नहीं होता, ऐसा प्रतिपादित करने वाले इतर दर्शनवादी कर्म की चिंता से-कर्म प्रक्रिया के सूक्ष्म चिन्तन से वर्जित है ।
इच्चेयाही य दिट्ठीहिं, सातागारवणिस्सिया ।
सरणंति मन्नमाणा सेवंती पावगं जणा ॥३०॥ छाया - इत्येताभिश्च दृष्टिभिः सातगौरवनिश्रिताः ।
शरणमिति मन्यमानाः सेवन्ते पापकं जनाः ॥ अनुवाद - ये मतवादी अपनी इन दृष्टियों या अपने द्वारा स्वीकृत सिद्धान्तों के आधार पर सुखोपभोग तथा यश, कीर्ति, गौरव आदि पाने में लिप्त रहते हैं।
___टीका - अधुनैतेषां क्रियावादिनामनर्थपरम्परां दर्शयितुमाह - इत्येताभिः पूर्वोक्ताभिश्चतुर्विधं कर्म नोपचयं यातीतिदृष्टिभिरभ्युपगमैस्ते वादिनः सातगौरवनिश्रिताः सुखशीलतायामासक्ताः यत्किञ्चनकारिणो यथालब्धभोजिनश्च संसारोद्धरणसमर्थं शरणम् इदमस्यदीयं दर्शन मिति एवं मन्यमाना विपरीतानुष्ठानतया सेवन्ते कुर्वते पापमवद्यम् एवं व्रतिनोऽपि सन्तो जना इव जनाः प्राकृतपुरुषसदृशा इत्यर्थः ॥३०॥
टीकार्थ - आगमकार इन क्रियावादियों के अनर्थमूलक दुष्फलप्रद मन्तव्यों को प्रकट करते हुए कहते
चार प्रकार के कर्म उपचित नहीं होते-बंधते नहीं । इस सिद्धान्त के आधार पर चलने वाले इतर दर्शनवादी सुख भोग तथा मान प्रतिष्ठा में आसक्त रहते हुए सब कुछ करते हैं । उचित अनुचित का ध्यान नहीं रखते। जैसा उपलब्ध हो जाता है वैसा भोजन कर लेते हैं । एषणीय अनैषणीय आदि का जरा भी ध्यान नहीं रखते। वे ऐसा मानते हैं कि उनका दर्शन-उन द्वारा स्वीकृत सिद्धान्त ही संसार सागर से उद्धार कराने वाले हैं । अपनी
