मूलाचार
नारकी हैं । जैसे सातवेंसे छठे नरकमें असंख्यातगुणे नारकी हैं इसीतरह सब जानना ॥ १२०९ ॥ थोवा तिरिया पंचिंदिया दु चउरिंदिया विसेसहिया। बेइंदिया दु जीवा तत्तो अहिया विसेसेण ॥१२१०॥ तत्तो विसेसअधिया जीवा तेइंदिया दु णायव्वा। तेहिंतोणतगुणा भवंति एइंदिया जीवा ॥ १२११॥ स्तोकाः तिर्यंचः पंचेंद्रियास्तु चतुरिंद्रिया विशेषाधिकाः। द्वींद्रियास्तु जीवाः ततः अधिका विशेषेण ॥ १२१० ॥ ततो विशेषाधिका जीवाः त्रींद्रियास्तु ज्ञातव्याः। तेभ्योऽनंतगुणा भवंति एकेंद्रिया जीवाः ॥ १२११॥
अर्थ-तिर्यंचोंमें सबसे थोड़े पंचेंद्रिय तिर्यंच हैं उससे अधिक चौइंद्री जीव हैं उससे अधिक दो इंद्रिय जीव हैं उससे अधिक तेइंद्रिय जीव हैं तेइंद्रियसे अनंतगुणे एकेंद्रिय जीव हैं ॥ १२१०-१२११ ॥ अंतरदीवे मणुया थोवा मणुयेसु होंति णायव्वा । कुरुवेसु दससु मणुया संखेजगुणा तहा होंति १२१२ तत्तो संखिजगुणा मणुया हरिरम्मएसु वस्सेसु । तत्तो संखेजगुणा हेमवदह रिणवस्साय ॥ १२१३ ॥ भरहेरावदमणुया संखेजगुणा हवंति खलु तत्तो। तत्तो संखिजगुणा णियमादु विदेहगा मणुया॥१२१४॥ सम्मुच्छिमा य मणुया होंति असंखिजगुणा य तत्तो दु। ते चेव अपजत्ता सेसा पजत्तया सव्वे ॥ १२१५ ॥
अंतीपेषु मनुजाः स्तोका मनुजेषु भवंति ज्ञातव्याः।
