करनेसे उत्कृष्टतासे ऊपरले ग्रैवेयकतक होता है नियमसे ॥ ११७५ ॥
ततो परं तु णियमा तवदंसणणाणचरणजुत्ताणं । णिग्गंथाणुववादो जावदु सव्वट्टसिद्धित्ति ॥ ११७६ ।। ततः परं तु नियमात् तपोदर्शनज्ञानचरणयुक्तानां । निर्ब्रथानामुपपादः यावत् सर्वार्थसिद्धिरिति ॥ ११७६ ॥
अर्थ — ग्रैवेयक विमानसे ऊपरले विमानोंमें सर्वार्थसिद्धिविमानतक तप दर्शन ज्ञान चारित्रसे युक्त ऐसे सब परिग्रहत्यागी मुनियोंका जन्म होता है अन्यका नहीं ॥ ११७६ ॥ आईसाणा देवा चन्तु एइंदियन्तणे भज्जा । तिरियन्तमाणुसत्ते भयणिज्जा जाव सहसारा ॥ ११७७ आईशानात् देवाः च्युत्वा एकेंद्रियत्वेन भाज्या । तिर्यक्त्वमानुषत्वेन भजनीया यावत् सहस्रारं ॥ ११७७ ॥ अर्थ — भवनवासीसे लेकर ईशान स्वर्गपर्यंत रहनेवाले देव चयकर कदाचित् पृथिवीकायिकोंमें उत्पन्न होते हैं। उससे आगे सहस्रारखर्गतकके देव कदाचित् तिर्यंचमें तथा मनुष्यों में उत्पन्न होते हैं ॥ ११७७ ॥
