पर्याप्ति - अधिकार १२ ।
संख्यातीतायुषां संक्रमणं नियमस्तु देवेषु ।
प्रकृत्या तनुकषायाः सर्वेषां तेन बोद्धव्याः ॥। ११६९ ॥ अर्थ — असंख्यातायुवाले भोगभूमियाओंका गमन नियमसे देवोंमें होता है क्योंकि सभी के स्वभावसे अल्प क्रोधादि कषाय हैं ऐसा जानना | ११६९ ॥
माणुस तिरियाय तहा सलागपुरिसा ण होंति खलु णियमा । तेसिं अणंतरभवे भयणिज्जं णिव्वुदीगमणं ॥ ११७० ॥ मनुष्याः तिर्यचश्च तथा शलाकापुरुषा न भवंति खलु नियमात् । तेषां अनंतरभवे भजनीयं निवृतिगमनं ॥ ११७० ॥

अर्थ – मनुष्य और तिर्यच नियमसे शलाकापुरुष तीर्थंकर चक्रवर्ती आदि नहीं होते और उसी आगेके भवमें मनुष्य कदाचित् मोक्षको जाते भी हैं और नहीं भी जाते ॥ ११७० ॥ सण्णि असण्णीण तहा वाणेसु य तह य भवणवासीसु । उववादो बोधव्वो मिच्छादिट्ठीण नियमादु ॥ ११७९ ॥
संज्ञिनां असंज्ञिनां तथा वानेषु च तथा च भवनवासिषु । उपपादो बोद्धव्यो मिथ्यादृष्टीनां नियमात् ॥ ११७१ ॥ अर्थ-संज्ञी असंज्ञी मिथ्यादृष्टियोंकी उत्पत्ति नियमसे व्यंतरोंमें भवनवासियों में होती है ऐसा जानना ॥ ११७१ ॥ संखादीदाऊणं मणुयतिरिक्खाण मिच्छभावेण । उपवादो जोदिसिए उक्कस्सं तावसाणं तु ॥ ११७२ ॥ संख्यातीतायुषां मनुष्यतिरश्चां मिथ्यात्वभावेन । उपपादो ज्योतिष्केषु उत्कृष्टस्तापसानां तु ॥ ११७२ ॥
