३९१ अर्थ-कर्मभूमिया भैरुंड आदि पक्षियोंका उत्कृष्ट आयु बहत्तर हजार वर्षका है और असंज्ञी तिर्यंचोंका तथा कर्मभू. मिया आर्य मनुष्योंका आयु उत्कृष्ट एक कोटीपूर्ववर्षका है११११ हेमवदवस्सयाणं तहेव हेरण्णवंसवासीणं ।। मणुसेसु य मेच्छाणं वदि तु पलिदोवमं एकं १११२
हैमवतवर्षजानां तथैव हैरण्यवर्षवासिनां । मनुष्येषु च म्लेच्छानां भवति तु पलितोपमं एकं॥१११२
अर्थ-हैमवत क्षेत्रमें उत्पन्न तथा हैरण्य क्षेत्रमें रहनेवाले भोगभूमियोंका च शब्दसे अंतरद्वीपजोंका, मनुष्योंमेंसे म्लेच्छखंडवासियोंका आयु एक पल्य है ॥ १११२ ॥ हरिरम्मयवस्सेसु य हवंति पलिदोवमाणि खलु दोण्णि तिरिएमय सण्णीणं तिण्णिय तह कुरुवगाणं च १९१३ हरिरम्यकवर्षेषु च भवंति पल्योपमे खलु द्वे । तिर्यक्षु च संज्ञिनां त्रीणि च तथा कुरवकाणां च ॥१११३
अर्थ-हरिवर्ष रम्यकवर्ष इनमें दो पल्यकी आयु है और संज्ञी तिर्यचोंकी तथा उत्तरकुरु देवकुरु मनुष्य भोगभूमियोंकी आयु तीन पल्यकी है ॥ १११३ ॥ देवेसु णारयेसु य तेत्तीसं होंति उदधिमाणाणि । उक्कस्सयं तु आऊ वाससहस्सा दस जहण्णा॥१११४
देवेषु नारकेषु च त्रयस्त्रिंशत् भवंति उदधिमानानि । उत्कृष्टं तु आयुः वर्षसहस्राणि दश जघन्या ॥ १११४ ॥
अर्थ-देव और नारकियोंकी उत्कृष्ट आयु तेतीस सागर प्रमाण है और जघन्य आयु दस हजार वर्षकी है ॥ १११४ ॥
