________________ ३५२ मूलाचारकरते हैं वे पर्याय राग द्वेष मोहके वशसे ग्रहण की जाती हैं९८६ अत्थस्स जीवियस्स य जिभोवत्थाण कारणं जीवो। मरदि य मारावेदि य अणंतसो सव्वकालमि॥९८७॥ अर्थस्य जीवितस्य च जिहोपस्थयो कारणं जीवः। म्रियते च मारयति च अनंतशः सर्वकालम् ॥ ९८७॥ अर्थ-घर पशु वस्त्रादिकके निमित्त, आत्मरक्षाके लिये और भोजनके कारण, कामके कारण यह जीव आप मरता है और अन्यप्राणियों अनंतवार सदा मारता है ॥ ९८७ ॥ जिन्भोवत्थणिमित्तं जीवो दुक्खं अणादिसंसारे । पत्तो अणंतसो तो जिब्भोवत्थे जह दाणिं ॥९८८ ॥ जिह्वोपस्थनिमित्तं जीवो दुःखं अनादिसंसारे। प्राप्तः अनंतशः ततः जिहोपस्थं जय इदानीं ॥९८८ ॥ अर्थ-इस अनादिसंसारमें इस जीवने जिह्वा इंद्रिय और स्पर्शन इंद्रियके कारण ही अनंतवार दुःख पाया इसलिये हे मुने तु जिह्वा और उपस्थ इन दोनों इंद्रियोंको जीत अर्थात् वशमें कर ॥ ९८८ ॥ चदुरंगुला च जिन्भा असुहा चदुरंगुलो उबत्थोवि । अटुंगुलदोसेण दु जीवो दुक्खं हु पप्पोदि ॥९८९ ॥ चतुरंगुला च जिह्वा अशुभा चतुरंगुल उपस्थोपि । अष्टांगुलदोषेण तु जीवो दुःखं हि प्राप्नोति ॥९८९ ॥ अर्थ-चार अंगुल प्रमाण अशुभ जिह्वा इंद्रिय और चार अंगुल प्रमाण अशुभ मैथुन इंद्रिय इन आठ अंगुलोंके दोषसे ही यह जीव दुःख पाता है ॥ ९८९ ॥
