मूलाचारक्षेत्र बल काल पुरुष आदि साधन हैं इन सबको जानकर आकुलता रहित होके अर्थात् धीरे शिष्यको दृढ करना चाहिये ॥ ९४२ ॥ भिक्खं सरीरजोग्गं सुभत्तिजुत्तेण फासुयं दिण्णं । दव्वपमाणं खेत्तं कालं भावं च णादण ॥ ९४३ ॥ णवकोडीपडिसुद्धं फासुय सत्थं च एसणासुद्धं । दसदोसविप्पमुक्कं चोदसमलवज्जियं भुंजे ॥९४४ ॥ भैक्ष्यं शरीरयोग्यं सुभक्तियुक्तेन प्रासुकं दत्तं । द्रव्यप्रमाणं क्षेत्रं कालं भावं च ज्ञात्वा ॥ ९४३ ॥ नवकोटिपरिशुद्धं प्रासुकं शस्तं च एषणाशुद्धं । दशदोषविप्रमुक्तं चतुर्दशमलवर्जितं भुंजीत ॥ ९४४ ॥
अर्थ-उत्तमभक्तिवाले पुरुषकर दिया गया, शरीरके योग्य, प्रासुक नवकोटिकर शुद्ध निरवद्य कुत्सादिदोषरहित एषणासमितिकर शुद्ध दश दोषोंकर रहित चौदह मलोंकर वर्जित ऐसे आहारको द्रव्यप्रमाण क्षेत्र काल भावोंको जान कर खाय ॥ ९४३-९४४ ॥ आहारेदु तवस्सी विगदिंगालं विगदधूमं च। जत्तासाहणमत्तं जवणाहारं विगदरागो॥९४५॥
आहरेत् तपस्वी विगतांगारं विगतधूमं च । यात्रासाधनमात्रं यवनाहारं विगतरागः ॥९४५ ॥
