मूलाचार
वृक्षमूलमें रहना क्या करसकेगा जो अधःकर्मसहित भोजन करता है । उसके सभी उत्तरगुण निरर्थक हैं ॥ ९२३ ॥ किं तस्स ठाणमोणं किं काहदि अब्भवगासमादावो। मेत्तिविहूणो समणो सिज्झदिण हु सिद्धिकंखोवि९२४ किं तस्य स्थानं मौनं किं करिष्यति अभावकाशमातापः । मैत्रीविहीनः श्रमणः सिध्यति न हि सिद्धिकांक्षोपि ९२४
अर्थ-उस साधुके कायोत्सर्ग मौन और अभावकाश योग आतापन योग क्या कर सकता है जो साधु मैत्रीभावरहित है वह मोक्षका चाहनेवाला होनेपर भी मोक्ष नहीं पासकता ॥९२४॥ जह वोसरित्तु कत्तिं विसं ण वोसरदिदारुणो सप्पो। तह कोवि मंदसमणो पंच दु सूणा ण वोसरदि ९२५
यथा व्युत्सृज्य कृत्तिं विषं न व्युत्सृजति दारुणः सः। तथा कोपि मंदश्रमणः पंच तु शूना न व्युत्सृजति ॥९२५॥ अर्थ-जैसे महा रौद्र सांप कांचलीको छोड़कर विषको नहीं छोड़ता है उसीतरह कोई मंद मुनि अर्थात् चारित्रमें आलसी साधु भोजनके लोभसे पंचसूनाको नहीं छोड़ता ॥ ९२५ ॥ कंडणी पीसणी चुल्ली उदकुंभं पमजणी। बीहेदव्वं णिचं ताहिं जीवरासी से मरदि ॥९२६ ॥
कंडनी पेषणी चुल्ली उदकुंभं प्रमार्जनी। ___ भेतव्यं नित्यं ताभ्यः जीवराशिः ताभ्यो मरति ॥९२६ ॥
अर्थ-ओखली चक्की चूलि जल रखनेका स्थान ( पढ़ेरा ) बुहारी-इन पांचोंसे सदा भयभीत रहना चाहिये क्योंकि इनसे 'जीवोंका समूह मर जाता है ॥ ९२६ ॥
