बाघ एक अशा जाता है या

अर्थ-सिंह या वाघ एक अथवा दो अथवा तीन हरिणोंको खालेता है तो वह नीच पापी कहा जाता है यदि साधु अधः कर्मसे जीवराशिको हतकर आहार करे तो वह महानीच है ९२० .. आरंभे पाणिवहो पाणिवहे होदि अप्पणो हु बहो। अप्पा ण हु हंतव्वो पाणिवहो तेण मोत्तव्वो ॥९२१॥
आरंभे प्राणिवधः प्राणिवधे भवति आत्मनो हि वधः। आत्मा न हि हंतव्यः प्राणिवधस्तेन मोक्तव्यः ॥९२१ ॥
अर्थ-पचनादि कर्ममें जीवघात होता है और जीवघात होनेसे आत्मघात होता है। जिसकारण आत्माका घात करना ठीक नहीं है इसीलिये जीवघातका त्याग करना ही योग्य है ९२१ जो ठाणमोणवीरासणेहिं अत्थदि चउत्थछ?हिं । भुंजदि आधाकम्मं सव्वेवि णिरत्थया जोगा ॥९२२॥
यः स्थानमौनवीरासनैः आस्ते चतुर्थषष्ठभिः । भुंक्ते अधःकर्म सर्वे अपि निरर्थका योगाः॥९२२ ॥
अर्थ-जो साधु स्थान मौन और वीरासनसे उपवास वेला तेला आदिकर तिष्ठता है और अधःकर्म सहित भोजन करता है उसके सभी योग निरर्थक हैं ॥ ९२२ ॥ किं काहदि वणवासो सुण्णागारी य रुक्खमूलो वा। भुंजदि आधाकम्मं सव्वेवि णिरत्थया जोगा॥९२३॥
