मूलाचार
जिनवचनमौषधमिदं विषयसुखविरेचनं अमृतभूतं । जरामरणव्याधिवेदनानां क्षयकरणं सर्वदुःखानाम् ॥८४१॥
अर्थ-इंद्रियोंके विषयसुखोंका झाड़नेवाला, जरा मरण व्याधिकी पीडाका क्षय करनेवाला और सब दुःखोंका क्षय करनेवाला ये अमृतरूप औषध जिनवचन ही है दूसरी कोई
औषधि नहीं ॥ ८४१॥ जिणवयणणिच्छिदमदी अवि मरणं अब्भुति
सप्पुरिसा ण य इच्छंति अकिरियं जिणवयणवदिक्कम काढुं८४२ जिनवचननिश्चितमतयः अपि मरणं अभ्युपयंति सत्पुरुषाः । न च इच्छंति अक्रियां जिनवचनव्यतिक्रमं कृत्वा ॥८४२॥
अर्थ-जिनकी बुद्धि जिनवचनोंमें निश्चित है ऐसे सत्पुरुष मरणकी तो इच्छा अच्छीतरह करलेते हैं परंतु जिनवचनका उलंघनकर रोगादिके यत्नरूप खोटी क्रिया कभी नहीं करना चाहते ॥ ८४२ ॥ रोगाणं आयदणं वाघिसदसमुच्छिदं सरीरघरं । धीरा खणमवि रागंण करेंति मुणी सरीरम्मि।।८४३॥
रोगाणां आयतनं व्याधिशतसमुत्थितं शरीरगृहं । धीराः क्षणमपि रागं न कुर्वति मुनयः शरीरे ॥ ८४३ ॥ अर्थ यह शरीर रूपी घर रोगों का स्थान है वात पित्त कफ आदिसे उत्पन्न व्याधियोंके सैंकडोंकर बनाया गया है इसलिये धीर वीर मुनि ऐसे शरीरमें क्षणभर भी प्रेम नहीं करते ॥ ८१३॥ एदं सरीरमसुई णिचं कलिकलुसभायणमचोक्खं ।
