णिक्खित्तसत्थदंडा समणा सम सव्वपाणभूदेसु। अप्पटुं चिंतता हवंति अव्वावडा साहू ॥ ८०३ ॥ निक्षिप्तशस्त्रदंडाः श्रमणाः समाः सर्वप्राणभूतेषु । आत्मार्थ चिंतयंतो भवंति अव्यापृताः साधवः ॥८०३॥ अर्थ-हिंसाके कारणभूत हथियार डंडा आदि सब जिन्होंने छोड़ दिये हैं, जो सब प्राणियोंमें समान दृष्टिवाले हैं व्यापाररहित हैं और आत्माके हितको विचारनेवाले ऐसे महामुनि किसीको पीड़ा नहीं उपजाते ॥ ८०३ ॥ उवसंतादीणमणा उवेक्खसीला हवंति मज्झत्था। णिहुदा अलोलमसठा अबिंभिया कामभोगेसु ८०४
उपशांता अदीनमनसः उपेक्षाशीला भवंति मध्यस्थाः। निभृता अलोला अशठा अविस्मिता कामभोगेषु ॥८०४॥
अर्थ-कषायरहित क्षुधा आदिसे दीनचित्तरहित उपसर्ग सहने में समर्थ समदर्शी हाथपांवको संकोचित करनेवाले वांछारहित मायारहित और कामभोगोंमें अनादर करनेवाले ऐसे महामुनि होते हैं ।। ८०४ ॥ जिणवयणमणुगणेता संसारमहाभयंपि चिंतता। गन्भवसदीसु भीदा भीदा पुण जम्ममरणेसु ॥८०५॥ जिनवचनमनुगणयंतः संसारमहाभयमपि चिंतयंतः। गर्भवसतिषु भीता भीताः पुनः जन्ममरणेषु ॥ ८०५॥
अर्थ-जिनवचनोंमें अत्यंत प्रीति रखनेवाले संसारके महाभयको चिंतनेवाले गर्भमें रहनेसे भयभीत और जन्म मरणसे भी भयभीत ऐसे महामुनि होते हैं । ८०५ ॥
