धर्मानुरागरक्ता वसंति रात्रौ गिरिगुहासु ॥ ७९३ ॥
अर्थ-वाघ आदि क्रूर जीवोंकर सेवित चारों तरफ भयानक अति अंधकारकर गहन ऐसे वनके पर्वतोंकी गुफाओंमें चारित्रके आचरणमें तत्पर मुनिराज रातमें निवास करते हैं ॥ ७९३ ॥ सज्झायझाणजुत्ता रत्तिं ण सुवंति ते पयामं तु । सुत्तत्थं चिंतंता णिहाय वसं ण गच्छंति ॥ ७९४ ॥ स्वाध्यायध्यानयुक्ता रात्रौ न स्वपंति ते प्रकामं तु । सूत्रार्थ चिंतयंतः निद्राया वशं न गच्छंति ॥ ७९४ ॥
अर्थ-श्रुतकी भावना ध्यान इनमें लीन हुए और सूत्र अर्थको चितवन करते हुए मुनिराज निद्राके आधीन नहीं होते । यदि सोते भी हैं तो पहला पिछला पहर छोड़कर कुछ निद्रा लेलेते हैं ॥ ७९४ ॥ पलियंकणिसेजगदा वीरासणएयपाससायीया। ठाणुक्कडेहिं मुणिणो खवंति रतिं गिरिगुहासु ॥७९५॥ पर्यकनिषद्यागता वीरासनैकपार्श्वशायिनः। स्थानोत्कटैः मुनयः क्षपयति रात्रिं गिरिगुहासु ॥ ७९५ ॥
अर्थ-पद्मासन सामान्य आसनकर बैठे वीरासनकर स्थित तथा एक पसवाडेसे सोते कायोत्सर्ग उकुरु आदि आसनोंसे बैठे मुनिराज पर्वतकी गुफाओंमें रातको विताते हैं ॥ ७९५ ॥ उवधिभरविप्पमुक्का वोसदंगा णिरंवरा धीरा । णिकिंचण परिसुद्धा साधू सिद्धिवि मग्गंति ॥७९६ ॥
