आगुंजिय मारसिय सुणति सद्द गिरिगुहासु ॥ ७९० ॥ एकांते वसंतो वृकव्याघ्रतरक्षुअक्षभल्लानां ।

आगुंजितमारसितं शृण्वंति शब्दं गिरिगुहासु ॥ ७९० ॥ अर्थ — एकांत में पर्वतोंकी गुफाओंमें वसते साधु भेडिया बाघ चीता रीछ इनके आगुंजित आरसित शब्द सुनते हैं । तौभी सत्त्वसे चलायमान नहीं होते ॥ ७९० ॥ रत्तिंचरसउणाणं णाणा रुत्तसिदभीदसद्दालं । उष्णावेंति वर्णतं जत्थ वसंतो समणसीहा ॥ ७९१ ॥ रात्रिचरशकुनानां नाना रुत्तसितभीतशब्दालं । उन्नादयंति वनांतं यत्र वसंति श्रमणसिंहाः ॥ ७९१ ॥ अर्थ – रातिमें विचरनेवाले घूघू आदि पक्षियोंके नानाप्रकारके रोनेसहित भयंकर शब्द जिस वनके मध्य में गर्जना करते हैं उसी वनमें मुनिराज रहते हैं ॥ ७९१ ॥
सीहा इव णरसीहा पव्वयतडकडयकंदरगुहासु । जिणवयणमणुमणंता अणुविग्गमणा परिवसंति ॥ ७९२ सिंहा इव नरसिंहाः पर्वततटकटककंदरगुहासु । जिनवचनमनुमन्यंतो अनुद्विग्नमनसः परिवसंति ॥ ७९२ ॥ अर्थ - सिंहके समान मनुष्यों में प्रधान ऐसे मुनिराज जिना - गमका निश्चय श्रद्धान करते उद्वेगरहित स्थिर चित्तवाले हुए पर्वतके अधोभाग ऊपरभाग पार्श्वभाग अथवा गुफामें रहते हैं७९२ सावदसयाणुचरिये पडिभय भी मंध्यारगंभीरे । धम्माणुरायरत्ता वसंति रत्तिं गिरिगुहासु ॥ ७९३ ॥ श्वापदशतानुचरिते परिभयभीमे अंधकारगंभीरे ।
