मूलाचारअर्थ-आश्रयरहित आशारहित संतोषी चारित्रमें तत्पर ऐसे मुनि अपने शरीर में भी ममत्व नहीं करते ॥ ७८३ ॥ ते णिम्ममा सरीरे जत्थत्थमिदा वसंति अणिएदा। सवणा अप्पडिबद्धा विजू जह दिट्टणट्ठा वा ॥७८४॥
ते निर्ममाः शरीरे यत्र अस्तमिता वसंति अनिकेताः । श्रमणा अप्रतिबद्धा विद्युद्यथा दृष्टनष्टा वा ॥ ७८४ ॥
अर्थ-वे साधु शरीरमें निर्मम हुए जहां सूर्य अस्त होजाता है वहां ही ठहर जाते हैं कुछ भी अपेक्षा नहीं करते । और वे किसीसे बंधे हुए नहीं खतंत्र हैं विजलीके समान दृष्टनष्ट हैं इसलिये अपरिग्रह हैं ॥ ७८४ ॥ गामेयरादिवासी जयरे पंचाहवासिणो धीरा। सवणा फासुविहारी विवित्तएगंतवासीय ॥ ७८५ ॥ ग्रामे एकरात्रिवासिनः नगरे पंचाहर्वासिनो धीराः। श्रमणाः प्रासुकविहारिणो विविक्तैकांतवासिनः ॥७८५॥
अर्थ-गाममें एक रात रहते हैं नगरमें पांच दिन तक रहते हैं । वे साधु धैर्यसहित हैं प्रासुकविहारी हैं स्त्री आदिरहित एकांत जगहमें रहते हैं ॥ ७८५ ॥ एगंतं मग्गंता सुसमणा वरगंधहत्थिणो धीरा। सुक्कज्झाणरदीया मुत्तिसुहं उत्तमं पत्ता ॥७८६ ॥ एकांतं मृगयमाणाः सुश्रमणा वरगंधहस्तिनः धीराः। शुक्लध्यानरतयः मुक्तिसुखमुत्तमं प्राप्ताः ॥ ७८६॥
अर्थ-एकांत स्थानको देखते हुए श्रेष्ठगंधहस्तीकी तरह धीर वीर उत्तम साधुजन शुक्लध्यानमें लीन हुए उत्तम मोक्षसुखको पाते हैं ॥ ७८६ ॥
