अर्थ - स्थिर बुद्धिवाले साधु हिंसा, झूठबोलना चोरी मैथुनसेवा परिग्रह इन पांच पापोंको मनवचनकायसे जीवनपर्यंत त्यागते हैं ॥ ७८० ॥
आगे व्रतशुद्धिको कहते हैं;
―
ते सव्वसंगमुक्का अममा अपरिग्गहा जहाजादा । वोसचन्तदेहा जिणवरधम्मं समं णेंति ॥ ७८१ ॥ ते सर्वसंगमुक्ता अममा अपरिग्रहा यथाजाताः । व्युत्सृष्टत्यक्तदेहा जिनवरधर्म समं नयंति ॥ ७८१ ॥ अर्थ — वे मुनि सब अंतरंग परिग्रहरहित हुए, स्नेहरहित, क्षेत्रादि बाह्य परिग्रहरहित, नग्नमुद्राको प्राप्त तैल स्नानादि देहसंस्कारसे रहित हुए जिनधर्म जो चारित्र उसको परलोकमें भी साथ लेजाते हैं ॥ ७८१ ॥
सवारंभणियत्ता जुत्ता जिणदेसिदम्मि धम्मम्मि । ण य इच्छंति ममत्तिं परिग्गहे बालमित्तम्मि ।। ७८२ ॥ सर्वारंभनिवृत्ता युक्ता जिनदेशिते धर्मे ।
न च इच्छंति ममत्वं परिग्रहे बालमात्रे || ७८२ ॥
अर्थ - जिसकारण वे मुनीश्वर असिमषी आदि सब व्यापारोंसे निवृत्त और जिनेंद्रकर उपदेशित धर्ममें उद्यत हुए बालमात्र परिग्रह में भी ममता नहीं रखते हैं ॥ ७८२ ॥ अपरिग्गहा अणिच्छा संतुट्टा सुट्टिदा चरित्तम्मि । अवि णीएवि सरीरे ण करंति मुणी मत्तिं ते ॥७८३ ॥ अपरिग्रहा अनिच्छाः संतुष्टाः सुस्थिताः चरित्रे ।
अपि निजेपि शरीरे न कुर्वेति मुनयः ममत्वं ते ॥ ७८३ ॥
