षडावश्यकाधिकार ७। २२३ णाणी गच्छदि णाणी वंचदिणाणीणवं च णादियादि। णाणेण कुणदि चरणं तह्मा णाणे हवे विणओ॥५८६॥
ज्ञानी गच्छति ज्ञानी वंचति ज्ञानी नवं च नाददाति । ज्ञानेन करोति चरणं तस्मात् ज्ञाने भवेत् विनयः ॥५८६॥
अर्थ-ज्ञानी मोक्षको जानता है ज्ञानी पापको छोड़ता है ज्ञानी नवीन कर्मोंको ग्रहण नहीं करता, ज्ञानी चारित्रको अंगीकार करता है इसलिये ज्ञानमें विनय अर्थात् ज्ञानविनय करना चाहिये। पोराणय कम्मरयं चरिया रित्तं करेदि जदमाणो । णवकम्मं ण य बंधदि चरित्तविणओत्ति णाव्वो५८७ पौराणं कर्मरजः चर्यया रिक्तं करोति यतमानः । नवकर्म न च बनाति चरित्रविनय इति ज्ञातव्यः ॥५८७॥
अर्थ-यत्नाचार सहित प्रवर्तता ज्ञानी चारित्रसे पुराने कर्मोंरूप धूलीका क्षय करता है और नवीनकर्मोंको बांधता नहीं है यही चारित्र-विनय है ऐसा जानना ॥ ५८७ ॥ अवणयदि तवेण तमं उवणयदि मोक्खमग्गमप्पाणं । तवविणयणियमिदमदीसो तवविणओत्ति णादव्यो ।
अपनयति तपसा तमः उपनयति मोक्षमार्गमात्मानं । तपोविनयनियमितमतिः स तपोविनय इति ज्ञातव्यः ५८८
अर्थ-जिसकी तपविनयमें बुद्धि दृढ है ऐसा पुरुष तपसे पापरूपी अंधकारको हटाता है आत्माको मोक्षमार्गमें प्राप्त करता है यही तपविनय है ऐसा जानना ।। ५८८ ॥ तमा सव्वपयत्ते विणयत्तं मा कदाइ छंडिज्जो। अप्पसुदो विय पुरिसो खवेदि कम्माणि विणएण५८९
