मूलाचार
इसप्रकार आहार लेनेके पहले प्रशंसा करना वह पूर्वसंस्तुति दोष है । तथा दानी यदि भूलजाय तो उसे याद दिलाना कि पहले तो तुम बड़े दानी थे अब कैसे देना भूल गये-ये भी पूर्वसंस्तुतिदोष जानना ॥ ४५५॥ पच्छा संथुदिदोसो दाणं गहिदूण तं पुणो कित्ति । विक्खादो दाणवदी तुज्झ जसो विस्सुदो वेति॥४५६॥
पश्चात् संस्तुतिदोषः दानं गृहीत्वा तत् पुनः कीर्ति । विख्यातः दानपतिः तव यशः विश्रुतं ब्रूते ॥ ४५६ ॥
अर्थ-आहार लेकर पीछे जो साधु दाताकी प्रशंसा करे कि तुम प्रसिद्ध दानपति हो तुमारा यश प्रसिद्ध है ऐसा कहनेसे पश्चात् संस्तुति दोष होता है ॥ ४५६ ॥ विजा साधितसिद्धा तिस्से आसापदाणकरणेहिं। तस्से माहप्पेण य विज्जादोसो दु उप्पादो॥४५७ ॥ विद्या साधितसिद्धा तस्याः आशाप्रदानकरणैः । तस्या माहात्म्येन च विद्यादोषस्तु उत्पादः॥ ४५७ ॥ अर्थ-जो साधनेसे सिद्ध हो वह विद्या है उस विद्याकी आशा देनेसे कि हम तुमको विद्या देंगे तथा उस विद्याकी महिमा वर्णन करनेसे जो आहार ले उस साधुके विद्यादोष होता है ॥ ४५७ ॥ सिद्धे पढिदे मंते तस्स य आसापदाणकरणेण । तस्स य माहप्पेण य उप्पादो मंतदोसो दु॥ ४५८ ॥ सिद्धे पठिते मंत्रे तस्य च आशाप्रदानकरणेन । तस्य च माहात्म्येन च उत्पादो मंत्रदोषस्तु ॥ ४५८ ॥
