पंचाचाराधिकार ५। मरगुज्जोवुपओगालंबणसुद्धीहिं इरियदो मुणिणो। सुत्ताणुवीचि भणिया इरियासमिदी पवयणम्मि ३०२ मार्गोद्योतोपयोगालंबनशुद्धिभिः ईयतो मुनेः। सूत्रानुवीच्या भणिता ईर्यासमितिः प्रवचने ॥ ३०२॥ अर्थ-मार्ग, नेत्र सूर्यका प्रकाश, ज्ञानादिमें यत्न, देवता आदि आलंबन-इनकी शुद्धतासे तथा प्रायश्चित्तादि सूत्रोंके अनुसारसे गमन करते मुनिके ईर्यासमिति होती है ऐसा आगममें कहा है ॥ ३०२ ॥ इरियावहपडिवण्णेणवलोगंतेण होदि गंतव्वं । पुरदो जुगप्पमाणं सयाप्पमत्तेण सत्तेण ॥ ३०३ ॥ ईर्यापथप्रतिपन्नेनावलोकयता भवति गंतव्यं । पुरतः युगप्रमाणं सदा अप्रमत्तेन सता ॥ ३०३॥
अर्थ-कैलाश गिरनार आदि यात्राके कारण गमन करना हो तो ईर्यापथसे आगेकी चार हाथ प्रमाण भूमिको सूर्यके प्रकाशसे देखता मुनि सावधानीसे हमेशा गमन करे ॥ ३०३ ॥ सयडं जाणं जुग्गं वा रहो वा एवमादिया। बहुसो जेण गच्छंति सो मग्गो फासुओ भवे॥३०४॥
शकटं यानं युग्यं वा रथो वा एवमादिकाः ।
बहुशो येन गच्छंति स मार्गः प्रासुकः भवेत् ॥ ३०४ ॥ __ अर्थ-बैलगाडी आदि गाडी, हाथीकी अंबारी, डोली आदि, घोड़ा आदिकर सहित रथ इत्यादिक बहुतबार जिस मार्गसे चलते हों वह मार्ग प्रासुक (पवित्र ) है ॥ ३०४ ॥ हत्थी अस्सो खरोट्टो वा गोमहिसगवेलया।
