उत्पन्न वज्रपात, ओले वरसना, धनुषके आकार पंचवर्ण पुगलोंका दीखना, दुर्गंध, लालपीलोवर्णके आकार सांझका समय, बादलाओंसे आच्छादित दिन, चंद्रमा ग्रह सूर्य राहुके विमानोंका आपसमें टकराना ॥ २७४ ॥
कलहादिधूमकेदू धरणीकंपं च अब्भगज्जं च । इच्चैवमाइबहुया सज्झाए वज्जिदा दोसा ॥ २७५ ॥ कलहादिधूम्रकेतुः धरणीकंपच अभ्रगर्ज च । इत्येवमादिबहुका स्वाध्याये वर्जिता दोषाः ॥ २७५ ॥ अर्थ - लड़ाई के वचन, लकड़ी आदिसे झगड़ा, आकाशमें धुआंके आकार रेखाका दीखना, धरती कंप, वादलोंका गर्जना, महा पवनका चलना अग्निदाह - इत्यादि बहुत से दोष स्वाध्याय में वर्जित किये गये हैं अर्थात् ऐसे दोषोंके होनेपर नवीन पठन पाठन नहीं करना चाहिये ॥ २७५ ॥
अब द्रव्य क्षेत्र भावशुद्धिको कहते हैं; - रुहिरादिपूयमंसं दद्वे खेत्ते सदहत्थपरिमाणं । कोधादिसंकिलेसा भावविसोही पढणकाले ॥ २७६ ॥ रुधिरादि पूतिमांसं द्रव्ये क्षेत्रे शतहस्तपरिमाणं । क्रोधादिक्केशो भावविशुद्धिः पठनकाले || २७६ ॥ अर्थ — लोही मल मूत्र वीर्य हाड पीव ( राधि) मांस रूप द्रव्यका शरीर से संबंध नहीं करना । उस जगह से चारों दिशाओंमें सौ सौ हाथप्रमाण स्थान छोडना । क्रोध मान माया लोभ ईर्षादि भाव नहीं करना वह क्रमसे द्रव्यशुद्धि क्षेत्रशुद्धि भावशुद्धि पठनकाल के समय कहीगई है || २७६ ॥
