मूलाचार
आषाढे द्विपदा छाया पुष्यमासे चतुष्पदा । वर्धते हीयते चापि मासे मासे द्वयंगुला ॥ २७२ ॥
अर्थ-आषाढ महीनेके अंतदिवसमें पूर्वालके समय दो पहर पहले जंघा छाया दो विलस्त अर्थात् बारह अंगुल प्रमाण होती है और पौषमासमें अंतके दिनमें चौवीस अंगुल प्रमाण जंघाछाया होती है । और फिर महीने महीने में दो दो अंगुल बढती घटती रहती है ॥ सब संध्याओंमें आदि अंतकी दो दो घड़ी छोड़ खाध्यायकाल है ॥ २७२ ॥ णवसत्तपंचगाहापरिमाणं दिसिविभागसोधीए। पुचण्हे अवरण्हे पदोसकाले य सज्झाए ॥ २७३ ॥
नवसप्तपंचगाथापरिमाणं दिशाविभागशुद्ध्या । पूर्वाह्ने अपराहे प्रदोषकाले च स्वाध्याये ॥ २७३ ॥
अर्थ-दिशाओंके पूर्व आदि भेदोंकी शुद्धिके लिये प्रातः कालमें नौ गाथाओंका, तीसरे पहर सात गाथाओंका, सायंकालके समय पांच गाथाओंका स्वाध्याय ( पाठ व जाप) करे ॥ २७३ ॥ ___ आगे दिशादाह आदिक दोषोंको वतलाते हैं उनके अभावसे कालशुद्धि होती है;दिसदाह उक्कपडणं विजु चडुकासणिधणुगं च । दुग्गंधसज्झदुद्दिणचंदग्गहसूरराहुजुझं च ॥ २७४ ॥ दिग्दाहः उल्कापतनं विद्युत् चडत्काराशनींद्रधनुश्च । दुर्गंधसंध्यादुर्दिनचंद्रग्रहसूरराहुयुद्धं च ॥ २७४ ॥
