९७ जलचरपक्षिचतुष्पदउरपरिसपेषु नव भवंति ॥ २२३ ॥
अर्थ-तिर्यंच मत्स्यादि जलचरोंके कुल साढे बारह लाख करोड़ कुल हैं । हंस आदि पक्षियों के बारह लाख करोड़ तथा सिंह आदि चौपायोंके दशलाख करोड़ और गोह सर्प आदि जीवोंके नव लाख करोड़ कुल हैं ॥ २२३ ॥ छव्वीसं पणवीसं चउदस कुलकोडिसदसहस्साई । सुरणेरइयणराणं जहाकम होइ णायव्वं ॥ २२४ ॥ षविंशतिः पंचविंशं चतुर्दश कुलकोटिशतसहस्राणि । सुरनैरयिकनराणां यथाक्रमं भवति ज्ञातव्यम् ॥ २२४ ॥
