कुलजोोणमग्गणा विय णाव्वा सव्वजीवाणं । णाऊण सव्वजीवे णिस्संका होदि कादवा ॥ २२०॥
कुलयोनिमार्गणा अपि ज्ञातव्याः सर्वजीवानां । ज्ञात्वा सर्वजीवान् निःशंका भवति कर्तव्या ॥ २२० ॥
अर्थ-सब जीवोंके कुल योनि मार्गणायें भी जानने योग्य हैं, इनमें सब जीवोंको जानकर संदेह रहित श्रद्धान करना चाहिये । बावीस सत्त तिणि असत्तय कुलकोडि सदसहस्साई णेया पुढविदगागणिवाऊकायाण परिसंखा ॥ २२१ ॥ द्वाविंशतिः सप्त त्रीणि च सप्त च कुलकोटिशतसहस्राणि । ज्ञेया पृथिव्युदकाशिवायुकायानां परिसंख्या॥ २२१ ॥
अर्थ-पृथिवीकाय जलकाय अग्निकाय और वायुकायिक जीवोंके कुल क्रमसे बाईसलाखकोटि, सप्तलाखकोटि, तीनलाखकरोड़ हैं ऐसा जानना । जतिभेदको कुल कहते हैं ॥ २२१ ॥ कोडिसदसहस्साइं सत्तट्ट व णव य अट्ठवीसं च । वेइंदियतेइं दियचउरिंदियहरिदकायाणं ॥ २२२॥
कोटिशतसहस्राणि सप्ताष्टौ च नव चाष्टाविंशतिश्च । द्वींद्रियत्रींद्रियचतुरिंद्रियहरितकायानाम् ॥ २२२ ॥
अर्थ-दोइंद्रियके सातलाखकोटि, तेइंद्रियके आठलाखकोटि, चौइंद्रियजीवोंके नौलाखकरोड़ और वनस्पतीकायिकजीवोंके अट्ठाईस लाखकरोड़ कुल हैं ॥ २२२ ॥ अद्धत्तेरस बारस दसयं कुलकोडिसदसहस्साई। जलचरपक्खिचउप्पयउरपरिसप्पेसु णव होति २२३
