समाचाराधिकार ४ ।
६३ अर्थ-जो कुछ महान् कार्य हो वह गुरु प्रवर्तक स्थविरादिकसे पूछकर करना चाहिये उसकार्यके करनेलिये दूसरीवार उनसे तथा अन्य साधर्मी साधुओंसे पूछना वह प्रतिपृच्छा है ऐसा जानना ॥ १३६ ॥ ___ आगे छंदनको कहते हैं;गहिदुवकरणे विणए वंदणसुत्तत्थपुच्छणादीसु। गणधरवसभादीणं अणुवुत्तिं छंदणिच्छाए ॥ १३७ ॥
गृहीतोपकरणे विनये वंदनासूत्रार्थप्रश्नादिषु । गणधरवृषभादीनामनुवृत्तिः छंदनमिच्छया ॥ १३७॥
अर्थ-आचार्यादिकोंकर दिये गये पुस्तकादिक उपकरणोंमें, विनयके कालमें, वंदना-सूत्रके अर्थको पूछना इत्यादिकमें आचार्यादिकोंकी इच्छाके अनुकूल आचारण वह छंदन है॥१३७॥
आगे नौमे निमंत्रणा सूत्रको कहते हैं;गुरुसाहम्मियव्वं पोत्थयमण्णं च गेण्हिद् इच्छे । तेसिं विणयेण पुणो णिमंतणा होइ कायव्वा ॥१३८॥
गुरुसाधर्मिकद्रव्यं पुस्तकमन्यच्च गृहीतुं इच्छेत् । तेषां विनयेन पुनर्निमंत्रणा भवति कर्तव्या ॥ १३८ ॥
