lawful wife. This has two divisions -- audarik (physical body) and vaikriya (ethereal body). (The audarik includes women and female-animals and the vaikriya includes goddesses.) वजह इसरिअपरिग्गहियागमणं अणंगकीडं च। परवीवाहकरणं, कामे तिव्वाभिलासं च॥ ८६ ॥
८६. श्रावक इस चौथे स्वदारसन्तोष व्रत के पाँच अतिचारों का त्याग करे :- १. इत्वरि परिगृहीता - इधर-उधर भटकने वाली नारी को धन देकर कुछ काल तक उसको साथ रखना या उसके साथ गमन करना। २. अपरिगृहीता- वेश्या, विधवा या कुलांगनाओं के साथ गमन करना, ३. काम क्रीडा करना, ४. दूसरों के विवाह करवाना और ५. काम सेवन की तीव्र इच्छा रखना।
86. A shravak should avoid the five transgressions of this fourth vow — to live for some time with or have carnal enjoyments with a roaming tramp by offering her money (1); to have extra marital relations with other women including prostitutes and widows (2); to indulge in other lascivious activities (3); to arrange marriages of others (4); and to have lascivious desires (5). इच्छापरिमाणं खलु, असयारंभ - विणिवित्ति - संजणयं । खिताइवत्थुविसयं, चित्तादविरोहओ चित्तं ॥ ७ ॥
८७. इच्छा-परिमाण अर्थात् इच्छाओं को सीमित करना परिग्रह-परिमाण व्रत कहलाता है। यह व्यर्थ के अकल्याणकारी हिंसक कार्यों की निवृत्ति का जनक है। यह क्षेत्र आदि वस्तुओं से सम्बन्ध रखता है और चित्त, वित्त, द्वेष, वंश आदि के आधार से अनेक प्रकार का है।
