The present MS runs up to the end of the 15th chapter. L. I. 469, II. 740 have only six chapters each. VSP (p. 44) notices a MS of the work in ll chapters.
The beginning of the work does not agree with that of L. I. 469 and L. II. 740, the first few lines of the last of which agree with those of the Kālyūrddhrāmnāyatantra (No. 5963 above). The work deals with Sakti worship in general and the worship of the ten Mahāvidyās in particular. Beginnings of the different chapters :
औरदेवतायै नमः। मेण्एछे समासीनं देवदेवं जगदुरुम् ।
शङ्करं परिपप्रच्छ पार्वती परमेश्वरम् ॥ श्रीपार्वत्युवाच ।
सर्वानन्दमयौं नत्वा सर्वाम्नायनमस्कृताम् । सर्वसिद्धिप्रदां देवौं नमामि परमेश्वरीम् ॥ प्रसौद गुह्यवत्रन्ते कथयख प्रियम्वद । सर्चतन्त्रेषु मन्तेषु गुह्यं मत् पञ्चवक्त्रकम् ॥
तत्प्रकाशय गुह्याख्यं यद्यहं तव वल्लभा । श्रौशिव उवाच ।
कथान्ते कथयिष्यामि गुह्यं मत्पञ्चमात्मकम् । स्त्रीखभावान्महाभागे न जानामि सुखप्रदम् ॥
देव्यवाच ।
खस्थिग्रहं भविष्यामि न वक्तव्यं कदाचन । तव वत्रा भविष्यन्ति भावनामन्त्रसिद्धयः ॥
