நொண்டி நாடகமென்பது, ஒரு வகையான இசை நூற் பிரபந்தம் ; சையத்காதி யென்பவர் முகம்ம தீயப்பிரபு ; தமிழ் வித்வான்களை மிக ஆதரிப்பவர். இந்நூல் இந்தப் பிரதியில் பூர்த்தியாயிருக்கிறது ; இன் னும் அச்சிடப்படவில்லை.

The plot of this drama relates to Dakşa performing a sacrifice to which his daughter Umā and her husband Paramasiva were not invited. Uma went to the sacrifice, neverthless ; but was not respected ; and so she fell into the sacrificial fire and destroyed herself out of grief. Śiva having become enraged at this incident, created Virabhadra from the eye on his forehead, and he cut off Daksa's head. The story is found in the Vaya-purana.
