CATURAGARADI. Substances palm-leaf. Size, 144 X 14 inches. Pages, 150. Lines,
5-7 on each page. Character, Tamil. Condition, injared, Appearance, very old. Incomplete.
This seems to be wrongly named, as it appears to be a supplement to Caturagarādi and gives the meanings of certain words not mentioned in it. Here also the words are arranged under the four chapters of பெயரகராதி, பொருளகராதி, தொகையகராதி and தொடையகராதி ; but the MS. contains words of the first two chapters alone. Beginning :
அணிக்கை = கெடுத்தல். அதம் = இறங்குதல். அதிர்பு = ஒலி. அதோபணி = நாகம். அத்தம் = பொன், பாதி, சொல், பொருள்.
End :
வேற்றுமையுருபு = ஐ, ஆல், கு, இன், அது, கண் , விளி.

இதன் முதலில் ''சதுரகராதிக்குறிப்பு," "அதிக வார்த்தை " யெ ன்பன காணப்படுகின்றன ; முதலாவது அகராதியிலுள்ள பதங்களின் உத்தேச எண் எழு நூறாகும், இரண்டாவது அகராதியிலுள்ள பதங்க ளின் உத்தேச எண் ஆயிரமாகும்; ஆதவாவ் இது சதுரகராதியிற் கண்ட வார்த்தைகளின் அதிகமானவற்றைக்குறித்துவைத்ததாகத் தோற்றுகின்றது.
