उपरोक्त मक्षिक अनिरिक्त प्राचीन जैन और मामिल साहित्य तथा पुरातत्व इस विषयमें हमाग समर्थन करने हैं। पहले ही भैन साहित्यको लीजिये : उममें बगवर श्री ऋषभदेवके ममयमे दक्षिणभारतका उल्लम्ब मिलना है, जैसे कि पौराणिक काल के वर्णनमें लिम्वा जाचुका है। और आगेक पृष्टोमें और भी लिखा जायगा। सचमुच जैनोंको लक्ष करके जैन ग्रंथोंमे दक्षिणभाग्नके पल्लवदेश, दक्षिणम.
