## Chapter 214: Exposition of the Actions of Karma that Destroy Charitra (Conduct) and Krsti (Karmic Matter)
**Verse 879 (1397-1399):** The remaining actions are inferred through these eleven considerations. The eleven considerations are complete, and this is the meaning of the word "ekkarasa" (eleven). The word "kitti" (karma) is also complete.
**Verse 880 (1400-1401):** Now, there are four verses regarding the destruction of karma. The first verse is: (161) Does the destroyer of karma destroy it with vedana (feeling), or without vedana, or with both vedana and sanskār (transformation)? Does it destroy karma in a sequential manner, or in a non-sequential manner?
**Commentary:** This verse has one commentary verse. It is as follows:
**Commentary Verse (1402-1403):** The third consideration is the "prati-samaya" (constant) destruction of karmic matter in the form of infinite multiplication of harm. The fourth consideration is "udirana" (excitation), which examines the state of arising and the "anubhaga" (effect) through forceful removal by action. The fifth consideration is "sthiti-kanda" (state-section), which examines the measure of the dimension of the "sthiti-kanda-ghata" (destruction of the state-section). The sixth consideration is "anubhaga-ghata" (destruction of the effect), which examines the constant transformation of the "anubhaga" (effect) within karmic matter. The seventh consideration is "sthiti-satkarma" (true action of the state), which investigates the measure of the true nature of the state remaining after destruction in all the "sandhis" (junctions) of the karmic matter. Alternatively, it is also called "sthiti-sankraman-vichar" (consideration of the transformation of the state) because it examines the transformation of the state. The eighth consideration, "anubhaga-satkarma" (true action of the effect), points to the true nature of the effect of the four "sanjvalana-kashaya" (agitated passions). The ninth consideration, "bandha" (bondage), examines the measure of the bondage of the state and the effect in all the "sandhis" (junctions) of the karmic matter. The tenth consideration, "bandha-parihāni" (destruction of bondage), examines the gradual destruction of the bondage of the state and the effect. Thus, the sutra-kar (author of the sutras) has indicated the description of the "mohaniya-karma" (karma that deludes) in the form of a question in this verse. Therefore, one should consider them here according to the "agama" (scripture).
**Commentary:** The remaining karma can also be investigated through these considerations. Upon examining them, the eleventh verse is complete. Thus, there are eleven verses regarding karmic matter. The meaning of this word is complete.
**Commentary:** Now, from here onwards, four verses are presented regarding the destruction of karma. This is the first verse.
**Verse 214:** Does the destroyer of karma destroy it with vedana (feeling), or without vedana, or with both vedana and sanskār (transformation)? Does it destroy karma in a sequential manner, or in a non-sequential manner?
**Commentary:** This verse has one commentary verse. It is as follows:
