## Chapter 206] Description of the Action of the Karma of Mohaniya (Delusion)
1238. The **antarakriṭṭi** (sub-divisions) of the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** (first collection-karma) of **koha** (anger) are the least. 1239. The **antarakriṭṭi** of the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** of **sanchuddha-mānas** (purified mind) are more than those of **koha**. 1240. The **antarakriṭṭi** of the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** of **mānas** (mind) are more than those of **sanchuddha-mānas**. 1241. The **antarakriṭṭi** of the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** of **lobha** (greed) are more than those of **māyā** (illusion). 1242. The **antarakriṭṭi** of the **sūkṣma-sāmprāyika-kriṭṭi** (subtle-universal-karma) which are done in the first time are the most. 1243. This particularity is **sanchhejjadhibhāga** (numerically multiplied) by **ananta-anantareṇa** (infinitely and infinitely).
**Explanation:** One should know that all the **sangraha-kriṭṭi** (collection-karma) are multiplied by the **āyāma** (dimension) available at the time of **kriṣṭikaraṇa** (maturation). The reason for this is that the **mohaniya-karma** (delusion-karma) is going to transform based on its **ādhāra** (base). Or, just as the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** of **krodha** (anger) with the characteristics mentioned above was **anant-guṇita** (infinitely multiplied) **hina** (less) in the **adhastana-bhāga** (lower part) of the **apūrva-spardhaka** (previous competitor), similarly, this **sūkṣma-sāmprāyika-kriṭṭi** with the same characteristics is also **anant-guṇita** (infinitely multiplied) **hina** (less) in the **adhastana-bhāga** (lower part) of the **tṛtīya-bādar-sāmprāyika-kriṭṭi** (third-universal-karma) of **lobha** (greed). Or, just as the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** of **krodha** (anger) was **anant-guṇita** (infinitely multiplied) from the **jghanya-kriṭṭi** (inferior-karma) to the **utkṛṣṭa-kriṭṭi** (superior-karma), similarly, this **sūkṣma-sāmprāyika-kriṭṭi** is also **anant-guṇita** (infinitely multiplied) from its **jghanya-kriṭṭi** (inferior-karma) to the **utkṛṣṭa-kriṭṭi** (superior-karma). Here, the **cūrṇikāra** (commentator) did not compare the **sūkṣma-sāmprāyika-kriṭṭi** (subtle-universal-karma) with any other **kriṭṭi** (karma) but with the **prathama-kriṭṭi** (first-karma) of **krodha** (anger). The reason for this is to explain the **āyāma-viśeṣa** (specific dimension) of the **sūkṣma-sāmprāyika-kriṭṭi** (subtle-universal-karma).
Now, the **cūrṇikāra** (commentator) explains the **māhātmya** (greatness) generated by the **āyāma-viśeṣa** (specific dimension) of this **sūkṣma-sāmprāyika-kriṭṭi** (subtle-universal-karma) by stating the **alpa-bahutva** (less-more).
**Cūrṇi-sūtra:** The **antarakriṭṭi** (sub-divisions) of the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** (first collection-karma) of **krodha** (anger) are the least. (Because, the measure of their **āyāma** (dimension) is **thirteen-divided-by-twenty-four** (33). ) When **krodha** (anger) is **san-kramita** (transferred), that is, when the **tṛtīya-sangraha-kriṭṭi** (third collection-karma) of **krodha** (anger) is **pra-kṣipta** (projected) into the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** (first collection-karma) of **mānas** (mind), the **antarakriṭṭi** (sub-divisions) of the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** (first collection-karma) of **mānas** (mind) are **viśeṣa-adhika** (particularly more). (Because, their measure is **sixteen-divided-by-twenty-four** (31). ) When **mānas** (mind) is **san-kramita** (transferred), the **antarakriṭṭi** (sub-divisions) of the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** (first collection-karma) of **māyā** (illusion) are **viśeṣa-adhika** (particularly more). (Their measure is **nineteen-divided-by-twenty-four** (34). ) When **māyā** (illusion) is **san-kramita** (transferred), the **antarakriṭṭi** (sub-divisions) of the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** (first collection-karma) of **lobha** (greed) are **viśeṣa-adhika** (particularly more). (Because, their measure is **twenty-two-divided-by-twenty-four** (34). ) The **sūkṣma-sāmprāyika-kriṭṭi** (subtle-universal-karma) which are done in the **prathama-samaya** (first time) are **viśeṣa-adhika** (particularly more). (Because, the measure of their **āyāma** (dimension) is **twenty-four-divided-by-twenty-four** (34). ) This particularity is **sanchhejjadhibhāga** (numerically multiplied) by **ananta-anantareṇa** (infinitely and infinitely). ||1238-1243||
**Special Meaning:** In this **alpa-bahutva** (less-more) mentioned above, the **ank-saṅkhyā** (numerical value) given to explain the **hina-adhikta** (less-more) of the **antarakriṭṭi** (sub-divisions) related to the **prathama-sangraha-kriṭṭi** (first collection-karma) of **krodha** (anger) etc. **kāpaya** (karma) is explained as follows: According to the **vibhāga** (division) of the **dravya** (substance) of the **āyā-huya-samaya-pravaddha** (time-matured) in the **pṛthak-pṛthak-karma** (individual-karma) in comparison to the **pradeśa-bandha** (spatial-bond), the **bhāga** (part) that comes in the **mohaniya-karma** (delusion-karma) is also...
