Gatha 177] Exposition of the Karmic Activity of the Deluding Karmic Particles
817. The duration of the Deluding Karmic Particles of the first moment of the Kṛṣṭi-vedaka is two years. 807. The duration of the Deluding Karmic Particles of the first moment of the Kṛṣṭi-vedaka, who is possessed by greed, is one year.
808. This is the conclusion of the second Bhāṣya-gāthā. (124) That Kṛṣṭi which is experienced as the middle, is sāntara (having an interval) in the two states.
The first is the series of qualities, and the second is the series of the superior.
809. Explanation. 810. As follows. 811. That Kṛṣṭi which is experienced, its pradeśāgra (the foremost part) is small in the first state. 812. In the second state, the pradeśāgra is innumerable times greater. 813. Thus, it goes on increasing innumerable times up to the last state of the first state. 814. Then, in the second state, the one which is the first state, its pradeśāgra is innumerable times greater. 815. Then, everywhere it becomes less specialized. 816. The middle is between the first and the last states of the first and second states, and the first state of the second state. 817. This is that middle which is sāntara (having an interval) in the two states.
818. This is the conclusion of the third Bhāṣya-gāthā.
