- Kasaya Pahud Sutta [15 Charitramoha-Kshapanaadhikaara 380. There are three commentary verses here. 381. We will speak about their summary and explanation. 382. It is as follows. 383. The summary of the first commentary verse. (99) The decrease of the Avaliya by one, two, or three parts.
This is the decrease in the two times, and the decrease in the parts of the Anubhaga in the remaining ones. ||152||
384. Explanation. 385. The Avaliya which is decreased from the time of the Udya, like one time more Avaliya, two times more Avaliya, etc., is deposited by the Avaliya of one time less, in two parts of that time, with the intention of not wanting it.
This first verse in the series of verses related to the course of action regarding the increase and decrease of the state and Anubhaga, is meant to explain the course of action regarding the increase and decrease of the state and Anubhaga, which is present in the intermediate state, starting from the beginning of the state of the two-time-made interval, and ending at the last time of the Kshapana period, for the six types of Nokapayas. It is also meant to determine the measure of the time of the state, in the form of the non-movement of the areas with the state and Anubhaga, which are decreased and increased. This verse also implies that this course of action regarding the increase and decrease of the state and Anubhaga, should not only be considered at the present location of the series of Kshapakas, but also in its previous state of Samsara. Although the verse mentions only the increase and decrease in the form of increase and decrease, it should also be understood as the transition of the other nature, and accordingly, it should also be asked how long the area that has transitioned to the other nature remains in the state of non-movement. There should be no doubt here that why this particular meaning, which is not read in the verse, should be taken? Because firstly, this verse itself is a pointer to the area. Secondly, the word 'cha' read in the latter half, combines the unsaid. The questions raised by this verse will be answered by the commentary verses to be spoken later.
Churnisu - There are three commentary verses that explain the meaning of this original verse, we will speak about their summary and explanation together. It is as follows. This is the summary of the first commentary verse. ||380-383||
The Avaliya which is less than the measure of the division of the lowest Apvarta, should be taken in the context of the lowest Apvarta states. But the lowest Apvarta regarding the Anubhaga is bound by the infinite competitors. That is, until the infinite competitors are deposited in the form of replacement, the course of action of the Apvarta regarding the Anubhaga does not occur. ||152||
Churnisu - The explanation of this verse is as follows - The state which is decreased from the Udya, that is, from the Udya Avaliya, like one time more Avaliya, two times more Avaliya, etc., is deposited by the Avaliya of one time less, in two parts of that time, by replacing it.
